Going for a walk outside during Typhoon Songda in Okinawa

My Dad was stationed in Okinawa way back in the 50's he was in the American Army. While he was there a Super typhoon came through with 160mph winds he said the place he was staying had 3 foot thick cement walls?. Well they were all drinking and decided to go out and play in it in their boxer shorts Lol. The next day when they were not drunk they found themselves scared to death at the damage and couldnt believe they were out in that. He found straw stuck in a tree.!

Lol helmet might not help to much if part of the building or a tree smashes you in the face.
