Quite a resourcefully helpful video in a nutshell!
Procrastinating is something people just need to work on through motivation and determination. As for the calendars part, do you recommend a -physical- calendar? I use Google Calendar (virtual), save it to my computer as well as my alternate Gmail, and make extremely good use of it. Last, as for blackboard usage, I can agree that people should use the tutorial even if they are rather good, so they're safe. Asking questions is a mandatory must!
@AzureParagon I would recomment an actual physical calendar...just because (for me) I like to write things and as I do them, cross them off. Or if plans change, I can see where I crossed it out and changed it. I think I'm just weird though so do whatever fits you best!!
@KaceesLife i think you talked fine and i understand every word you said. i like to know what classes did you take and is the online courses like going to campus and getting the same exact assignments you would in class rooms. thank you
@3WIRES Well thank you! My first semester I took Comp 1 and Communications, during the summer I took History and Sociology, this semester I took Comp 2 and Business Law, and next semester I'll be taking Accounting 1 and Computer Info. Online is different bc you do it when you have time and everything is open book (quizzes, tests, homework). I think they are easier. You should take 1 and see if you like it! I love them!!
Your video would have been helpful 4 years ago when I started college. I graduate this december and I couldnt agree with you more. I personally hate online classes but thats because im a # 4...procrastinator... queen procrastinator lol. great video
@BRESLINE Thank you! I don't usually think of myself as a procrastinator but here lately it seems to be that way! But the thing I love about online, you can be a procrastinator all week and then the day your stuff is do, you can completly fake it and not have to memorize anything if necessary. Not like I've done that or anthing.... :)
I'm about to take my first online course ever in like 2 weeks time :D I'm excited but also little bit worried I don't know how I'm going to manage between work , study and everything else ... Well I guess I'll figure it out .. Thanks 4 the video it really helped
Thank you!! And no, I havne't gotten a new camera yet, but I'm going to! I just mess with the videos a little in moviemaker (notice the B&W :)) and then upload them to youtube and the audio matches when I do that! Are you taking online in the fall? I have 2 online and 1 campus.
Yay your audio matches up!!!! Did you get a new camera? I took my first online course this summer. I agree with most your advice..... You need a decent computer but not a new laptop..... mine is a pretty old desktop and does well. I agree though ppl do need to be able top learn on their own! Amen about procrastinating. Lol we use blackboard as well. great video : ))
