I don't get it, why does the space time sheet goes up around the black hole. That means that stuff is being pushed away from the black hole and has to get over that little hill before it can be sucked in.

@AX53B60 Well, in theory you have to pass the event horizon to be sucked into the black hole. So the little hill should be the event horizon.
