  • MANNN. You actually get PAID to do that? FIrst off, NEVER keep a turntable ON TOP OF AN INTEGRATED OR TUBE AMP. you are almost by definition introducing noise and hum. I Can do a video easily to demonstrate that. Second, your turntable environment is FILTHY. MANN what the f?? I should start charging for my transfers, I have a forensic lab compared to your ramshackle set up! DAMN

  • Nice tutorial dude :)

  • Am I able to hook up 2 turntables to the same receiver? Either by using 1 through Phono and 1 through Line or something like that or will I have to buy another receiever for each turnatable I have? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

  • Thanks! very helpful video.

  • hi JanD these is a kind of production "easy" but no profesional, if you has the rec out to the computer with the "RIAA" equalization i dont understand why you connect directly from receiver "rec out" to mic in?, sometimes the mic in is mono sound and not the true stereo, why you dont using the "line in" of soundcard?.. i using a technics directdrive to phono in and the out of the rec out connect to the Equalizer technics sh-8045 and the line out of Equalizer connect to Line in of my sound card

  • Thank you , very simple.

  • @wilderwun211 NEVER KEEP A TURNTABLE ONTOP OF ANOTHER PIECE OF EQUIPMENT . THIS GUY IS A FOOL

  • how has all that stuff

  • ok now...I have windows vista...what program do I need or where on here do I find the recorder box you show on windows xp?

  • Yes, just make sure the impedance levels on the audio match. On most mixers that have faders or gain input levels you should be able to get good levels without distortion or impedance issues.

  • What is the cord needed to go from receiver to computer?

  • left and right rca ends (usually red & white) to an 1/8th inch mini stereo phono plug. It's a "Y" cable. left and right to one 1/8th inch mini stereo phono plug.

  • my turntable broke :( gonna try and fix it myself so I can do this

  • Where would one find a reciever because i already have turn table and i am trying to convert the vinyls to a cd?

  • Any electronics store. Best buy, Circuit City, Radioshack, even department stores like Sears, Macys, JC Pennys.

  • Very helpful video, thanks :-). I have a question, though. Can you use that RCA to 3.5mm jack converter on a mixer?
