@mariokartfan64 Remember though, Twilight Princess isn't even in the same timeline as those games, except for ocarina of time. So, technically Twilight Princess is only his second appearance in that timeline.

I would love for it to be a sequel to Majora's mask, because if we remember from wind Waker opening scene, Link did not return when the people of Hyrule needed him again. I want to know what happened to him.
2nd, I would love to see if he finished his quest to find Navi, because Navi is awesome.

You know, I think that if this rumor is true and the game is a sequel to Majora's Mask then the innkeeper that they're talking about would have to be Kafei. Maybe after he and Anju got married he became the innkeeper. Seeing that link played a vital role in getting them back together would explain why the innkeeper's son looks up to Link.
The rumor says the innkeeper and her children live in Link's hometown... which is weird, because the hero of time has no hometown other than Kokiri Forest. And there are no adults with children there...

The master sword won't be in the game, that's something that is really really REALLY hard to believe... And zelda won't be in the game, WTH?!?! idk about an MM sequel. I mean the atmosphere and everything could make it really cool but i wasn't a huge fan of it. I'd like this one to be a bridge from OoT to MM. That might be pretty cool. Or maybe an MM sequel could be cool, and then this Link would die at the end, changing the pace a bit. And If it is an MM sequel this Link probably would die, or disappear or something, because in the beginning of Wind Waker it said the Hero of Time was defeated or vanished or something like that.
im thinking that they kept alot of things out of twilight princess and are implementing them in this one. also i hope link is alot more customizable. alot of secrets that have to be searched for. not just givin to you. so there can be alot more hours of gameplay.
time travel will be in this game. but on a new level. like there coul possibly 3-4 eras you can travel to. that would be awesome.
Remember when they said that links sword would be...I think it said Customizable, I think its a replacement for the master sword. Anyway, maybe it has to do with that. He said that this game would be unique, and that it would be unlike any other Zelda game. MAYBE, just MAYBE, it would have an RPG Leveling/EXP thing to it, and when you level up, you gain SP, which would be used to spend for sword skills.
Back to my explanation. And depending on what sword skills you have, you have to take different paths through the dungeon, different ways of defeating bosses and numerous foes, and also finding the heart pieces.
This seems like the best way for each person to have a unique experience, and for it to be different than other Zelda games.
If it is a sequel to Majora's Mask then it would make sense for no Master Sword to be in the game. Why? Well, the Master Sword is indeed in the Temple of Time and it brings you seven years in the future, it would release Ganondorf (again) and it would just begin the story of OoT again.

i think it wont be released this year, because with just super mario galaxy 2, the wii would be set, but it also has metroid other m coming out. why play 3 aces up your sleve when it only takes 2 to win the money?

Hmm a MM sequel? That would make my day, hell my friggin decade, but I doubt it. Compared to all the other Zelda games MM is the most underrated of them all. There is alot of things in MM that have gone unexplained for over 9 years now. This October which will be the 10th anniversary of MM and yet a rumor of a release of Zelda Wii on the 10th anniversary. Sounds fishy, that or big coincidence. But I HIGHLY doubt Nintendo would do it anytime soon if at all.

i don't believe in rumors, no matter how accurate they MAY be. i do like to read them though, as these are quite juicy morsels. whatever the game is, I'm pretty sure its going to be 100% mother fucking amazing if they've been able to keep everything about the game officially secret, as all anyone outside really knows are rumors. NOOOO The New Zelda Wii Can't be The Last of The Zelda Franchises. OMFG I LOVE ZELDA and if they make us wait more then 3 to 4 years, And this Is Going To be The Last Game Then.. I don't mind a Majora's sequel, but I do hate the fact that it may contain time travel. Please, go from one element to another. Time has been done, Wind has been done. Please, move on with another unique aspect.
IMO MM is better than OoT because of the style of the game being far more unique and realised. Also it strays from the: Here's a sword, go save the princess formula.

the producers may took the end of MM as a template, where link sometime later during his ongoing "travel" (after the end of MM), settled down...and started to make a normal life, like everyone else was...
as the years went by, link grew and could also have met his female counterpart...and so on and so on...
I would enjoy that too. I'd really like to see one last toon game, the true sequel to Wind Wakah. But of course, I doubt that it's never going to happen, and all sequels of the best Zelda ever will remain in a mediocre path on Nintendo's handhelds T_T
Doubt that it will be a Majoras Mask sequel I love the Idea but come on almost a decade since Majoras Mask was released if it was really a Majoras Mask sequel then it probably would have been released years ago before TP. Its more likely to be a TP sequel the Majoras Mask sequel I doubt it will be a sequel to either but a TP sequel is way more likely. Still its more likely for it to be a Majoras Mask sequel then for a gun to appear as a weapon in the Zelda series still that would be awesome.

I think the earliest release date of Zelda Wii will be December. I mean, they've got a massive team working on this game for 4 years. It HAS to be getting somewhere!

The only way MrTingle could possibly have this information, if it's even true at all, is to be a developer or maybe even an early-stage tester. No way he could "guess" Zelda's and Gannon's models not being in the game, or even "guess" about the game mechanics.

I disagree, Zelda wasn't in all Zelda games I forget but there was one she didn't appear in. As for the Master Sword I do agree however if there going to get rid of the master sword there going to make a new kind of sword he did mention time travel in this video possibly a sword that can travel through time that would be pretty cool.
Well, the Master Sword has appeared in the last 2 games, not to mention Link's Awakening, the first and second game, and the Oracle ones. Oh yeah, and it didn't appear in Majora's Mask.
Zelda hasn't appeared in 3 games. Link's Awakening, Majora's, and Phantom Hourglass.
She does not turn into Zelda at the end of the game. She only appeared as Tetra, which I consider a seperate persona in the same way others identify Sheik as seperate from Zelda.
zelda was in majoras mask! when link got the ocarina back he remembered zelda in his mind and with THAT he learned again the song of time! and in phantom hourglass... well tetra is zelda and tetra appears in the game!
Ganondorf would be impossible to be in this because since its after majoras mask...he was still in the twilight realm and wouldnt be free until twilight princesss

A lot of people don't say majora's mask sucks!!! I would like to see a sequal but that just wont happen
1. The game is the DARKEST zelda game!!! Nintendo wants to attract audiences of all ages, sure it will get better hits, but nintendo wants future zelda gamers
2. try coming up with a sequal with majoras mask, and a smart one too like majoras mask (if direct sequal, new mask transformation, plot, etc.)
3. zelda tends to leave certain sequal games alone (IE zelda 1 & zelda 2, Season/Ages, Etc)
OMG.. i just watched 21 through 32. I am exited and confused and hopefull. The game has to be good though becasue they have a big name that they have to live up to because its easily the best series in the history of the company. they have yet to disapoint me....

I find it hard to believe it would be a sequel to majoras mask, if i remember right, the "Hero of Time" was before OOT's time, and since MM was a sequel to OOT, it wouldnt make sense that the hero of time would be in the game so late, MrTingle is part of nintendo i believe, i remember seeing that username a VERY long time ago when WindWaker was being made, they had given the whole plot of it. Right now i'm believing everything MrTingle says, and everyone else should too.

... releasing zelda within such a close timeframe to mario and metroid would only tarnish the sales of all three games, especially the first 2. It's only a logical marketing strategy that they release the games at somewhat separate times. Mario and Zelda will probably be released closer together, because Mario is more casual and metroid is more core, especially with team ninja, so they sell to different audiences anyway. With this idea of making zelda both casual and core, it probably will be..
I have no idea what to think regarding MM. Could go either way. But I thought that I heard that the game would take place 100 years after twilight, and wouldn't that make it impossible for it to be a sequel to MM? Also, I would LOVE IT if they added another time travel ability. I think that that is the reason OoC and MM are still considered to be so great. Mix the old with the new! I wouldn't mind if the game got pushed to 2011, we will be content with Mario and Metroid anyway. and...

idk about an MM sequel. I mean the atmosphere and everything could make it really cool but i wasn't a huge fan of it. I'd like this one to be a bridge from OoT to MM. That might be pretty cool. Or maybe an MM sequel could be cool, and then this Link would die at the end, changing the pace a bit. And If it is an MM sequel this Link probably would die, or disappear or something, because in the beginning of Wind Waker it said the Hero of Time was defeated or vanished or something like that.

im thinking that they kept alot of things out of twilight princess and are implementing them in this one. also i hope link is alot more customizable. alot of secrets that have to be searched for. not just givin to you. so there can be alot more hours of gameplay.
time travel will be in this game. but on a new level. like there coul possibly 3-4 eras you can travel to. that would be awesome.

A customizable sword sounds kinda cool...
Remember when they said that links sword would be...I think it said Customizable, I think its a replacement for the master sword. Anyway, maybe it has to do with that. He said that this game would be unique, and that it would be unlike any other Zelda game. MAYBE, just MAYBE, it would have an RPG Leveling/EXP thing to it, and when you level up, you gain SP, which would be used to spend for sword skills.

Back to my explanation. And depending on what sword skills you have, you have to take different paths through the dungeon, different ways of defeating bosses and numerous foes, and also finding the heart pieces.
This seems like the best way for each person to have a unique experience, and for it to be different than other Zelda games.

If it is a sequel to Majora's Mask then it would make sense for no Master Sword to be in the game. Why? Well, the Master Sword is indeed in the Temple of Time and it brings you seven years in the future, it would release Ganondorf (again) and it would just begin the story of OoT again.

Hmm a MM sequel? That would make my day, hell my friggin decade, but I doubt it. Compared to all the other Zelda games MM is the most underrated of them all. There is alot of things in MM that have gone unexplained for over 9 years now. This October which will be the 10th anniversary of MM and yet a rumor of a release of Zelda Wii on the 10th anniversary. Sounds fishy, that or big coincidence. But I HIGHLY doubt Nintendo would do it anytime soon if at all.

if link's really going to be more grown in the next game...
the producers may took the end of MM as a template, where link sometime later during his ongoing "travel" (after the end of MM), settled down...and started to make a normal life, like everyone else was...
as the years went by, link grew and could also have met his female counterpart...and so on and so on...
bad things start happening, link gets up, etc ^^

but i think the majoras mask sequel theory isn't so far-fetched...
in majoras mask, link actually was on a search for a dear friend (remember the fairy sound during the text intro?)...
he was also without the master sword...and besides...
it was the only zelda game i can remember which fell out of series, meaning...no ganondorf, no zelda (except for the first ocarina scene)...
at the end of the game,...link continues his previous "travel" throught the world..

Doubt that it will be a Majoras Mask sequel I love the Idea but come on almost a decade since Majoras Mask was released if it was really a Majoras Mask sequel then it probably would have been released years ago before TP. Its more likely to be a TP sequel the Majoras Mask sequel I doubt it will be a sequel to either but a TP sequel is way more likely. Still its more likely for it to be a Majoras Mask sequel then for a gun to appear as a weapon in the Zelda series still that would be awesome.

I for one really hope these rumors are true. Ocarina and Majora are my favorite games of the series and continuing the Hero of Time Saga would be epic.
There was one rumor that caught my eye when I rewatched the video...the one about the innkeeper and his son. In Majora's Mask, Anju, the owner of Stock Pot Inn in Clocktown married Kafei at the end of the game so...

The only way MrTingle could possibly have this information, if it's even true at all, is to be a developer or maybe even an early-stage tester. No way he could "guess" Zelda's and Gannon's models not being in the game, or even "guess" about the game mechanics.
Since the word "may" is thrown around a lot, I put my money on MrTingle being an early-stage tester. Again, if any of this is even true.

Well, the Master Sword has appeared in the last 2 games, not to mention Link's Awakening, the first and second game, and the Oracle ones. Oh yeah, and it didn't appear in Majora's Mask.
Zelda hasn't appeared in 3 games. Link's Awakening, Majora's, and Phantom Hourglass.

I really dont think this is going to be a MM sequel:
1)Nintendo keeps on raving about how "new and different" this zelda is gonna be.
2)No one ever actully confirmed the timeline theory
3)Nintendo wants a game that appeals to casual gamers. CAUSAL GAMERS PROBABLY HAVENT EVER PLAYED MM.

1. The game is the DARKEST zelda game!!! Nintendo wants to attract audiences of all ages, sure it will get better hits, but nintendo wants future zelda gamers
2. try coming up with a sequal with majoras mask, and a smart one too like majoras mask (if direct sequal, new mask transformation, plot, etc.)

I find it hard to believe it would be a sequel to majoras mask, if i remember right, the "Hero of Time" was before OOT's time, and since MM was a sequel to OOT, it wouldnt make sense that the hero of time would be in the game so late, MrTingle is part of nintendo i believe, i remember seeing that username a VERY long time ago when WindWaker was being made, they had given the whole plot of it. Right now i'm believing everything MrTingle says, and everyone else should too.

It's only a logical marketing strategy that they release the games at somewhat separate times. Mario and Zelda will probably be released closer together, because Mario is more casual and metroid is more core, especially with team ninja, so they sell to different audiences anyway. I have no idea what to think regarding MM. Could go either way. But I thought that I heard that the game would take place 100 years after twilight, and wouldn't that make it impossible for it to be a sequel to MM? Also, I would LOVE IT if they added another time travel ability. I think that that is the reason OoC and MM are still considered to be so great. Mix the old with the new!
