  • i love disny

  • Didn't this used to be 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea? That's my favorite god damned movie, it sucks they changed it to Finding Captain Ne- i mean Finding Nemo (although I love Finding Nemo too :] )

  • does anyone remember from before the new finding nemo submarine voyage opening, there was a promoting program that was about an hour long, all about the history and the new one. it was on cox 3. i have been looking for it since it aired in early 2007 but can't find it. i found it once online but you had to pay to download it. i can't seem to find it anywhere now:( can anyone help?

  • Ok, so the subs are back at Disney California, great. Now why don't they bring them back at Disney Florida? Because they turned the sub lagoon into a Winnie-the-pooh playground. FAIL.

    Oh well, such is life.

  • @SmokyMtnSteam Actually, that area is going to become a Little mermaid ride, but not in the form of submarines.

  • @Benstudio13 The 20K sub lagoon was filled in and became a playground in 2005.

  • @SmokyMtnSteam I know, but for the new Fantasyland expansion it will become a Little Mermaid ride.

  • Cool!

  • hhmmmm just like the Atlanta Submarine in hawaii accept this one is fake not a real one like in hawaii.

  • They are actually real submarines, however, they don't submerge.

  • Now that they brought back one classic ride, let's see if Disney could bring Mr. Toad's Wild Ride back to Disney World

  • I don't think Mr. Toad will make it back to Disney World. He is still available in Disneyland though.

  • where can i get the song theme at 10 sec. =]

  • It's from the Peter Pan movie. It's called "Flying". You can get it on itunes.

  • I went on this ride. i liked it but honestly, i think they could have done better. But i still liked it. I LOVE DISNEY. Like you have no idea how much. :D

  • POKE'MON!!!

  • its nothing like that

  • The Little Mermaid ride is going in Disney World where the submarine voyages in Disney World used to be.

  • Dineyland* =)

  • no i also read somewhere there going to do like toy story mania and put it in both disneyland and disneyworld the same year

  • From what I heard, they are going to be building Fire Mountain on the spot of WDWR's 20K attraction, not a Little Mermaid attraction.

  • what's fire mountain going to be about??

  • Unsure about the storyline, but it dates back to one of Walt's concepts for a roller coaster. The coaster would be themed to a erupting volcano. As of now, Imagineers are pushing for the coaster to be a flying coaster, probably a Vekoma Flying Dutchman, with a vertical launch. It's intresting, but also very sketchy. It probably wont happen for a very long time, but who knows.

  • that sounds cool

  • I doubt it, as Disney World's 20k Lagoon no longer exsists.

In fact, what's there right now is a Winnie the Pooh play ground. Honestly, I'd rather have the old 20k subs than any of that. May have been lower tech, but with the odles of cash Disney has they could certainly make the ride more convincing.

  • see i would rather have the Finding Nemo Subs because people know that story better. don't get mad at me but i have seen the disney 20,000 leagues under the sea movie and i thought it was fine. i just think that the kids today aren't going to go back and watch 20,000 leagues when they already have Finding Nemo. i hope that makes sense

  • Actually, Disney's planning to put An Little Mermaid attraction in Disney's California Adventure, and if that goes well, it might be cloned into Disneyworld.

  • @Broadwayfan365 But here's the flip-side: the ride in Florida had nothing to do with 20,000 Leagues beyond the subs being based on the Nautilus and the Captain Nemo narration. It didn't tell the story of the film, and so there was no requirement for park guests to be familiar with it. And besides, having seen the source material usually doesn't matter. Very, very few park guests around the world have ever seen "Song Of The South", but that doesn't make Splash Mountain redundant and unvisited...

  • Actually, they're planning to pave that over as part of the massive Fantasyland expansion.

  • And if 20k isn't part of it, I'd be ashamed of Disney.

  • I thought they were going to make a Little Mermaid ride with the submarines but I suppose Nemo is cool too!?

  • The Little Mermaid ride is coming to DCA in the next couple of years. This summer they are introducing Toy Story Mania.

  • I went on this ride when I went to Disneyland 8/8/07! It was fun.

  • i love disney land i have gone there 20times it has change ever time

  • The little boy in this vidio is my neigbor .

  • wow that cool your neighbor in video when they came your place?

  • I Love How Disney exagerates all of their rides in the commercials...

  • What I think is interesting is how they actually showed the bottom portion of the submarines, which are black, instead of faking it and showing yellow.

  • ive like it

  • It was an amazing ride. I loved the Darla animitronic. The press event was awesome too.

  • Yes, its an awesome ride! :)

  • I liked it better during the day than I did at night.

  • Uh yeah it is.

    It's Flying from Peter Pan.

  • Whats the name of the song

  • It's the theme song for Year of a Million Dreams

  • It's Called Flying From Peter Pan (2004)

  • its not flying from peter pan, dude....get ur ears checked

  • No you're getting confused with "you can fly". This song i the commercial is "Flying from Peter Pan"

  • THAT's WHAT I SAID!! :P

  • awesome

  • wow, thats really cool, congratulations...ur a lucky guy

  • Thanks a bunch.

  • This truly is a dream come true for me. Not in a million years would I have thought they would bring back the Submarine Voyage. It was my favorite attraction as a child and I shed a tear watching this video.

  • I remember seeing the WDW version on our honeymoon. It's sad to see that it became a Playland.

"A big yellow taxi took away my old man.

Don't it always seem to go

That you don't know what you've got till it's gone?

They paved paradise and put up a parking lot"

  • no way..howd u get into that?

  • Because he's one of the winners of the Disney Dream Job contest.

  • Yes, I am a pirate winner for the Dream Job. There are a total of 25 winners and 5 are pirates.

  • that was awesome!!

    thanx for the upload.

ive been dying 2 c that commercial

  • Glad to help make your day. I found it on a show I TiVo'd and thought others might like to see it. I'll get to be a part of the Pre-launch Party which will be real cool.

  • What a weird commercial. And that periscope is a perv!!

  • Hahaha
