thanks for the info.actually knew they're reproductions, but just wondered how the engines compared to the original mitsubishis;h.p.,#of cylinders, size, etc.anyway, nice job done on them.they look the part for sure.
apart from the frantic ott comentater, and that every plane seems to have been hit and trailing clouds of smoke,it's great to see some ww2 jap stuff flying at last.anyone know what engines are they using?
I saw these guys Saturday in Jackson, Ms at Hawkins Field. They said something about that show being the first for one of their zeros. They were incredible.
Saw these planes in the 80s first time was in 1986 six Zeros two Kates and two Vals CAF show in Mount comfort Indina, Theses same planes were used in the Final Countdown and Baa Baa Black Sheep
Is re-enacting of wars healthy? I wonder about America sometimes. I am proud of the Mitsubishi Zero's technology of the time, but maybe they should be shown differently. So many of them died on suicide missions from Kagoshima.
rsarakaki, lighten up, this is just an airshow. We all died in that stupid war. All wars are stupid. A good reason to "relive" them to see that we don't really want to do that again. Be happy in what we have today!
is that entertaining? do we need to burn all that fuel to tell the story? It's a crazy world we're living and crazy the wars we lived

This comment has received too many negative votes show
You kiddin me? The Zeroes were made to be small, cheap aircraft for the Japanese (since they were kamikaze planes)
JManGuitar5150 2 years ago
no your wrong..zeros are fighter bombers....zeros were made before the japanses resorted to kamikaze attacks
