@SeanLaw I have obviously recorded the individual in the past and as a person working in the public eye on public property in a highly dense tourist area he should expect no less. Was I recording him prior to the incident, no, I was assaulted at least 6 times before being able to pull my camera out and engage it.

This video is a snippet that was caught on tape in a crisis, thus its short and chaotic nature.

As for the proponents of this guard and his actions, Im sure that the Solicitor Generals office and the courts will decide whats best as required of them by the laws governing the Province of BC.

Though some dispersions have been made scepticism is a healthy thing as nobody is infallible but outright hateful insinuations and liable (or slander) is childish, even when produced by a fear response.

I've known this Ambassador for over five years. He told me of two incidents, 1 and two months before this situation where the "camera man" has tried to antagonize and push his buttons. He also always touches (slaps) him, runs his fingers through his hair and video records him to try and "get his goat". Ambassador will be vindicated and fat moron will try to remove this post. (Should also be charged with something). The truth is out there, phony fame seekers.

How well do you really know anyone (a timeless question); Anyone who would attack someone for no good reason is probably going to lie to try to cover up as much of their guilt as possible. But even if what youre saying is true, I wont make a comment until I hear it from the horses mouth.

My camera is always strapped to my hand (unless I'm being beaten on and raised to elbow level when I film (best focal positioning)and if you actually watched my videos you would realize that most of my subjects know I'm there and filming doughhead.

Looped yes, something recorded prior to the incident, yes.

"these Ambassadors have to go." -- nice way to look at a single, individual incident. Whether or not this single guard has a problem or if this incident was a problem, that doesn't mean ALL Ambassadors are this way. Maybe you should look up the good things the Ambassadors have done, or talk to the DVBIA about what they have gained from these people.

Typical social psychology - jump on the negative of a single, individual incident.

Good call, a system is only as good as it's parts and those who manipulate it. The neg. comments are sensationalist (most bang for buck)and likely from those worried about their futures. The money is apparently their for a while and each BIA can probably decide for itself after that. A revamp (for good or bad) is likely though.

From what I see, Shelly is the focal point of three films and I doubt highly she knew about it. The manner in which you depict her in such a way, best described as almost pathetic a being, be it smoking crack or attempting to scam Starbucks for a coffee, speaks volumes about you. I'd also like to comment in regards to your Global sham, you do not work for the Gastown BIA. The Ambassadors, however, are under contract to provide services on their behalf.

In my YouTube collection I have 2 not 3 vids of Shelly, the crack smoker is someone else. As for her awareness, from 150 feet away on the 5th floor, high as a kite, no she probably wasnt aware, I never statted all of my subjects were, just most all.

As for my sham, I do in fact vol. for the GBIS though you know how the media is, edit, edit, edit. I did not notice on the jerky podcast but I will get a copy to see if I was misrepresented.

I wish I could tell you, I was of no threat to him, I got kicked four more times and punched in the head twice. I figured the VPD woud be on his side if I did anything so I got my cam out and rec. what I could before it was knocked outta my hand. I tried to find out for 3 weeks with no luck, guards on stress leave now Genesis told Global TV.
