I also love this song and when I make CD's to turn people on to NRBQ that haven't heard of them I always put Housekeeping as the first track. During the verses you can really hear that patented Keith Richards/Rolling Stones tuning, especially on the album version.
One of my favorite tracks from the album as well. I am a musician, and know the chilling 'housekeeping' screech at a far too early hour for us to be awakened after a long night of playing. Made me laugh hard the first time I heard it. Great band, inventive clever guys.
