this could go far... maybe when you do the random encounters the screen could zoom in a bit on the characters as the other actors in the party step out. Then the HUD and everything fades in and the battle music starts.

With a little work, this could be similar to what was used in the Lunar games.

To add a new script, open the script editor then right click a script that is already made. Then click add new script and a brand new one will be added.

Learning how to script is not as easy as you think. It requires at least a month of two of studying and testing, especially for something like this. If you are deperate for good battle systems like this, try to find a premade script to copy and paste into your game. I use the BlizzABS real time on-the-map battle system. Google it! Good Luck.

HP and MP bars are going to be added later on. My top priorities right now are setting things straight in terms of actual battle.

After I finish a lot of basic things (character movements and menu tweaking mostly :3). I'll work on the graphical end of things.
