Maybe if you did not film and drive, you wouldn`t have almost crashed twice. Be responsible not just for your self ,but for others too. Maybe the guy next to you is someone's son, daughter, father and/or mother......
I think the reason people in St Louis freak out everytime snow is forcasted is because of the 82 blizzard where flurries where expected and we got over 20".
Wow, those conditions are bad... NOT! thats just a regular day of snow around here. Unless you were on ice, its not hard at all to stop quick without skidding in those conditions. Also, you shouldn't have been filming, very dumb thing to do.
Why were you filming this in these conditions? It was not a bright idea! Both hands on the wheel while driving in the snow, better control of the vehicle.
Seems to be pretty bad weather to drive without winter tires. But it's still easy to manage if you remember following things: Easy on acceleration and brakes and keep distance to other vehicles. You must start braking at least 3 times earlier than in normal situation. And... Don't drive if not absolutely necessary. :)
still that doesn't look so bad, well at least my Impreza could handle it, AWD, thought it was BS until I drove home in a foot of snow completely fine, Canadian weather, eh?
I wont have to any more. I have a window mounting tripod (Thanks JIM) I actaully did that becasue when I talked to my mom 10 minuits before leaving she was like "you need to go, the roads will be fine" I was like OK. I saw they were bad, so I brought my camera as proof LOL
Obviously It was an "epic Phail" attpempting to go to school. I ended up turning around and going back home... actually the 2nd half of the video is of the return trip on I64 again. Traffic was much worse than this on I270(grid lock in both directions * 4-6 lanes per direction = ~ 12 lanes gridlock)
Mayby it would help if you got both hands on the wheel! U gonna cause an accident someday with that camara in your hand!
