  • Hahaha Lisa is pretty good at Trolling !

  • I don't know how religious people explain Australia's fauna.

  • Check out "samurai crab evolution" for a great example of artificial selection.

  • After all these years Lisa still has the cutest voice! F- the haters!

  • dang old tell you what, man

  • Not natural selection but selective breeding

  • been days without water. . . still searchin for mrgtrsuwe's comment. must. . . keeep. . . going. . . x_x

  • ...i see what you did there

  • You're drowning the fish Ned!

    mmmmmmmmmm, bed

    *drools*

  • omfg... natural selection != evolution...

  • Why hasn't the water turned into wine yet?

  • Do those fish in the tank mean that it's filled with holy water?

  • Sorry, Lisa, but that is an example of Artificial Selection.

  • @jackdeath Damn, you beat me to it!

  • DOH!!

  • what is this episode called?

  • Evolution 1 God nada

  • Everybody hates Lisa

  • EVOLUTION MUST BE STOPPED

  • Damn I hate lisa.

  • @IIIJFRIII: Bc she's a smartass and a besserwisser? ;) How can you not love her(sarcasm)? XD

  • @IIIJFRIII: Forgot to add: Don't take me wrong. I love Lisa ^^. Not bc she's a smartass or so, but bc she's smart and cunning.

  • @IIIJFRIII and i h8 this cuz i don't understand people speaking english so much

  • hang on if those are jesus fish...shouldn't they be on TOP of the water?

  • @hiddenbutdeadly Better question: shouldn't that water be holy by now?

  • @hiddenbutdeadly Damned good point XD

  • wait does he even have a watch?

  • Stoping Evolution?, That's a paddalin'

  • peetree777 has a point, its selective.

  • Thats not natural selection, its selective breeding

  • @Peetree777 he said that naturally he selected them, it's not the same thing.

  • @MadOldPete Yes, but Lisa implied that it was natural selection, which it wasnt

  • @Peetree777 she just rephrased what Ned said. aren't you comfortable with double entendres?

  • Why am I not surprised. The video talks about evolution and the resulting comments all get political.

  • I want 2 Jesus fish, stat

  • smart people should not be allowed on youtube the comments are too long

  • @mrgtrsuwe -Stares blankly as i dribble with my mouth half open- Daaaaah.... xDD

  • @mrgtrsuwe Then, how else are flame wars to cease?

  • @mrgtrsuwe

Yeah but Obama-voters can only use 3 words max, of 1 syllable each.

  • @SouthParkBear and bush voters can't even use 2 real english words in a sentence.

  • @animedorkify

Well not ones Obama knows, anyway-- like BIRTH CERTIFICATE!

  • @SouthParkBear Does "Fus Ro Dah" count?

  • @mrgtrsuwe Dumb people can write a lot of stupid shit too, don't worry.

  • @mrgtrsuwe Dumb people should not be allowed on Youtube due to the following reasons: Lack of punctuation. Lack of capitalization. Flaming. Trolling. Double negatives. They are too lazy to write "you" instead of "u". Many idiots spam just to fuck up other idiots's mind. You wrote 1 reason not to have smart people while i wrote 7. And if you dont want to read those long comments then i can come with one good tip: DON'T! Peace.
  • @ShotgunzForever i should be a capital letter

  • @ShotgunzForever: Then those who write ''u'' are equaly as lazy to not write ''you'' :). It's the same thing.

  • @ShotgunzForever U r a shelf in-titled gammer nahzi. I em writng tihs weh to pss u off.

Here is a tip. Take your self entitled bullshit and shove it up your ass. Not everyone uses perfect grammar and not everyone has enough time to spend meticulously analyzing every punctuation, spelling, and grammatical nuance to please self-righteous assholes like yourself. If they make a mistake, it doesn't mean they are dumber than you, it only means they are not as anal-retentive.

  • @xiber88 I'd have pointed out that when referencing himself, the 2 'i's he used in the second half of the paragraph should be capitals. But who needs that kind of backlash? :-P

  • @RawSwedishMeatball I Guess when Jesus talked about the multiplication of fishes he was bringing up the idea of fish farming ( Wich is quite simple and does not require great technology ) as a more favorable option to fishing at sea as to feed the starving people . Either that, or he was talking about a whole lot of us dumb dumbs would walk the earth. :D

  • @RawSwedishMeatball Hi I just want to say to begin with that i always write "cordialy" to be polite :). Darwin suggests we evolved from Tetrapods (depicted in homer univers) & that life came on earth from the sea There are many tetrapods some are amphibious Some walk on the sea floor In "juge me softly" flander's "Jesus fish" is a reference to the christian fish but also to the "darwin fish" A 4 Legged fish "parody" Of the christian fish Called brace yourself the ICHTHYS (read it backwards) :D

  • Isnt it always funny when the top comment it like a 2000 word essay explaining how funny or unfunny a 27 second video is.

  • Why does youtube make me do a spam check every five or so comments?

  • What about a fish that says "fuck you" on it.

  • That'll do Flanders, that'll do.

  • Wow, Homer's right, Flanders really is stupid.

  • HES PREVENTING EVOLOTION

  • @oc1503chik88 it puts the evolotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again!

  • @oc1503chik88 Yes that was the joke

  • They should totally bred fish that have words on them! That would be awesome!

  • WHAT EPISODE IS THIS? MUST WATCH

  • @AlienEffigy juge me sofftly

  • One of the things Flanders says that's offensive to Christians.

  • Natural selection or artificial - the principal is the same. Just proves that Darwin was right.

  • Wouldn't of happened naturally in most scenarios lisa, sorry to break it to you...

Now on the other hand... It does show that humans can make "Natural selection" in the same way it's concidered do able, separating the traits we want and the traits we don't want...

9th grade Bio class for the win.

  • "Not on my watch!" LOL

  • i am offended.

  • @fjdpaco :dealwithit:

  • I am confused by people saying that it's not natural selection... it's like they didn't actually watch the video

  • @APCtheOWAD naturally

  • Major religious debates below.

  • I'm a Christian, and I found this funny. Lighten up, peeps. She wasn't implying it was evolution, either, she just gave a definition of breeding with selective words to try to make him sound as if he were agreeing with natural selection.

  • You go, Lisa :)

  • Lol how wrong whe is. Its slective breeding, not natural selection. Even if she was trying to get him to agree with evolution, educated will know that what sh said was wrong, therefore would not find the joke funny and complain abouthow its wrong. But besides that the joke wasn't funny anyway. It is late seasons seasons anyway.

  • The top two comments are idiots. She was twisting his words to get him to agree with an evolutionary statement, she was not implying that artificial selection was natural selection.

  • @Psionic7Rat your saying your a idiot now, lol

  • @Psionic7Rat

Sounds more like Matt Groening just doesn't know what he's talking about.

  • I've got to say, while i still didnt like the whole filming the tv thing that people do, you've done it thebest so far. Good job.

  • Jesus needs to breathe

    Not on mai watch

    do i have a watch?

  • I miss when Ned portrayed normal Christians, not retard American Christians who've eaten too many cheeseburgers

  • Ned: No evolving for you mister!

    Fish: awwww

    Haha

  • Dumbass Lisa.

  • Finally, a camcorder recorded video without crappy quality!

  • When you selectively breed something intentionally, it's not natural selection, it's artificial selection.

  • @CoolCunt666

so would that be the same as crossbreeding?

  • @PoisoningOrchid No, crossbreeding is just when you cross two different races or species.

  • @PoisoningOrchid For example, all dog breed s have been created through artificial selection.

  • @CoolCunt666 Well, yes, but Flanders said "so NATURALLY we selected those" which would make her comment spot-on, if slightly figuratively.

  • @FrisianDude Yes but then she said "So that natural selection was the origin of this species" so shew was implying it was natural selection.

  • @CoolCunt666 true, but I just took it as a pun, sort of.

  • @FrisianDude Oh ok

  • @CoolCunt666 just accept that Lisa is a retarded character and move on

  • @BestNameEvar lol ok i will

  • @BestNameEvar - Right. Flanderss isn't retarded. LOL

  • @CoolCunt666 fuck off rod and/or todd

  • @illuminatioracle lol maybe i seem like that to you because your dumb. It doesn't take a genius to know the different between natural and artificial selection, dumbass. Your just angry at me because your uneducated.

  • @CoolCunt666 I'll let your screenname, your tone and your grammar speak for itself.

  • @CoolCunt666 Learn some grammar first before you start trolling people, f'ing idiot.

  • @no1znipers lol funny how idiots like yourself think it's trolling whenever someone is smarter than them. Just jealousy.

  • @CoolCunt666 Same process of evolution, different method of selection.

  • @NotjustGrey lolz, WRONGGGGGGGG

  • Comment removed

  • @kudjo24 Not at all. The method of selection is different, yes. In one case, traits are chosen naturally, based on which are the best for survival. In the other case, humans choose traits which they like in a plant or animal, and breed to improve upon that specific trait. However, the overall process of evolution between these two types is the same. Certain genes are passed on to following generations, etc, etc.

  • @CoolCunt666

    It's called genetic engineering.

  • @NarlepoaxIII Uh, no. Genetic Engineering is when scientists genetically ENGINEER there genes. This is artificial selection. They are two different things.

  • @CoolCunt666

That's actually called genetic splicing, when scientist mess around with genes directly. Genetic engineering is when breeders selectively choose the ones they want to breed. It can be done with animals AND plants.

  • @NarlepoaxIII xxJackeeboixx is right. He's done all the explaining for me lol.

  • @NarlepoaxIII No its not.

Genetic engineering: when scientists actualy go in an alter/transfer/remove genes.

Artificial selection: Breeding specific species/sub-species in order to reproduce the favourable/valuable gene.

  • @xxJackeeboixx Yes, thank you.

  • @CoolCunt666 stupid...

  • @RawSwedishMeatball lol are you calling me stupid? Look who got highest rated comment.

  • @CoolCunt666 doesnt prove anything because you got the majority with you, the majority is often wrong, just saying, and im not calling you stupid, but the argument

  • @RawSwedishMeatball but he's right... learn2biology

  • @RawSwedishMeatball What, so 129 people vs 1 person and the 1 person is irhgt over the 129 people? You have some serious ego issues(You believe your correct above everyone else). The chances of you being correct are more like 0.05%

  • @CoolCunt666 i didnt state that i was correct either, only saying that even if one has the majority on ones side does not make any more of a valid point since the majority often has the wrong picture, its not like religion is the truth, yet, the majority of people in the world are religous... dont try and attack someones arguement unless you have actually read the comment...

  • @RawSwedishMeatball @CoolCunt666 Hello, the christian fish is a recognition that Darwing said man evolved from a fish that walked out of the water to walk on land. this is what this bid means. Jesus talked about the multiplication of fish to feed people.... Cordialy

  • @TheMutantX109 first, fish didnt just walk up onto land, thats just wrong thinking and what do you mean by "Jesus talked about the multiplication of fish to feed people.... Cordialy"? do you mena that jesus somehow suggested evolution in that statement?

  • @RawSwedishMeatball And do you also know how else I know I'm correct? I've got the entire internet to back it up. Go look up Natural and artificial selection and you will find that I am correct and you will see what an arrogant idiot you actually are.

  • @RawSwedishMeatball Oh and this arguments over.

  • @CoolCunt666 artificial selection is still bound by the laws of natural selection, only that you give the individual 1 choice, so, saying artificial selection is different from natural selection is quite not right since you only remove the possible options, its not like you change anything in the biology of a organism to make it evolve, and thats what i was implying

  • @CoolCunt666 and this is quite common of people who dont actually know what they are talking about to just end a debate, since, they dont have any strong point of view. and just finally, man can only remove options in natural selection so far to make it "artificial" selection, though gene therapy might be a better choice when talking about artificial selection

  • Not on my watch!

  • lol you braindead creationists crack me up. god doesnt exist as you believe him to be: a backstabbing bastard that sometime fulfills the wishes of one country while denying those of another. or as you dumbasses put it: he works in mysterious ways. lol god fucks you over = mysterious, god helps you: loving. always finding a way to explain all kinds of bullshit.the funny part is that your denial is parodied in this clip

  • @solargesture Ahh quit trollin and enjoy the Simpsons! (you knew what you were doing posting that comment)

  • i thought the title said jesus fetish. boy was i wrong

  • I'm going to grown an inch!

    NOT ON MY WATCH

    *hits down to original size*

  • hehehe, that's clever.

  • @kanenkitten vhat? i love the tv. you speka no engrish?

  • @DontTakeCrack: What? I think you could do with some work on your spelling as I have no idea what you're talking about.

  • Silly Lisa, not natural selection - human selection. Did the young brainiac think the development of St. Bernards and dachshunds happened naturally?

  • @PeeboTyson

    lol calm down dude.

  • @PeeboTyson Artificial selection...

  • @PeeboTyson No no no. It's artificial selection, not 'human selection'.

  • @CoolCunt666 Are you arguing semantics, sir?

  • @PeeboTyson lol you called me sir. And yes, I am.

  • @PeeboTyson Well, nature decided to make them Bernards and dachshunds instead of mangled freaks of nature.

  • @Scatertom1 Well, one could consider certain breeds "mangled freaks of nature", but to each his own I suppose.

  • @PeeboTyson Not human selection - Artificial Selection.

Maybe human interferance, but thats still artificial selection.

  • @PeeboTyson Does it matter if the factor that selects a certain aspect of the final species is natural or human? No it uses the same mechanism for the final result.

The natural selected species is just better equipped to survive, maybe not on the short run but it is on the long run.

  • @BeortheMad exactly, the difference of selection doesn't mean the mutation process is any different just sped up and aimed in a specific direction

  • @PeeboTyson It's actually artificial selection

  • @PeeboTyson No, she wanted to bend Ned's words into admitting there's such thing as natural selection.

  • I like how if anything even slightly related to religion comes up on the internet everyone has to yell at eachother

  • what season and episode was this?

  • Here's a question for the theists:

If evolution was proven wrong or it was proven that there had to be some form of higher power for it to occur, how in any way does that relate to the judeo-christian god?

Even if we manage to prove that there is a higher power there is not logical explanation of that it's "the truth of the bible" behind it. It could just as well be Zeus or Thor that created evolution.

  • @zugrath16 aliens :D

  • @zugrath16 Dude it was Zoidberg. Prove me wrong! AHA you can't so Zoidberg religion is the best.

  • @zugrath16 From one atheist to another: Quit trolling, you look like an asshole. Come on, dude. Not necessary.

  • I personally believe evolution was kickstarted and guided by God.

  • @Manadox97 no... aliens or GTFO

  • aaaand...cue argument

  • its not "natural selection" if a human chose them for his purposes...

  • @Nsinger998 but still, it proves that natural selection does happen, and that evolution does exist, given guided by man, or guided by the harshness of nature..

  • @Nsinger998 stop trying to start bitch ass arguments.

  • EVERY ONE HERE, i am jesus

  • Thats great :D

  • Attempting to evolve? Oooh, you better believe that's a paddlin'.

  • Typical creationist

  • Cowards Love Religion, Geese Love Ganders, Everyone Else Loves Ned Flanders !

  • Flanders pressed B.

  • @sincityfire Win.

  • So evolution is intelligent control of selection?

  • @gavincurtis No. Read a book. Not one written with bias.

  • @RSVJosephV When I find a book without bias I will let you know.

  • @gavincurtis Just a school textbook...
