  • I can respect what you did with the scene at 1:53...pretty awesome rendition of the transformation itself IMO. Jesus gets clowned a lot these days but the bluetrint for all transformations (into glory form) seen in modern entertainment came from this narrative. Super Saiyan who?? Sailor Moon...He-man...Power Rangers...Hulk...even other comicbook heroes like Ironman, and also Transformers, would be nothing without this scene. So I give credit where it's due.

  • It would be cute except this particular passage is not really an apporpriate story for comedy... it seems like a more sacred moment

  • Can you give me any specifics? I know I took too much creative freedom on retelling this Bible story. Just trying to learn from my mistakes. If you have any constructive criticism, I am open to hearing it.

  • This is breathtakingly awful.

  • @Ambiduros Seconding that, its awfulness and likely inappropriateness bound to offend just about everyone, but mainly because it is really really lame / baaaaad.

  • Jesus is a jerk in this cartoon. Why'd he have to interupt their game point. And at the end, couldn't jesus tell that their love wasn't genuine. That they only respected him out of fear because god struck lightening & scared the hell out of em. Plus, if stuff like that were to really happen then maybe proof of god wouldn't be so debatable. That doesn't mean I'd worship him tho...

  • I certainly didn't want to portray Jesus as a jerk. As I read the gospels Jesus is portrayed as compassionate and powerful. He reaches out to those far from God and speaks out against the religious fakes. When Jesus called them away from the volleyball game it was because He had something better for them to experience. I was going for more awe than fear on the mountain top. I believe there are lots of proofs that God is real. Thanks for the comment. I wish you well on your spiritual journey.

  • @MrDanOfTheChapel Larf. Proof is for math. Meaning is for words. And Purpose is for tools. You aren't a number or a word... you must be a tool.

  • Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I am thankful that we live in a country where we have the freedom to express them. When I read the Bible, I do not see the God you describe. I see an all powerful Creator who will go to any length to reach out to His rebellious people. I know there are many Christians who give Christ a bad name. If you want to really know what God is like, read the book of John and see how Jesus acted. Regardless, thanks for leaving a comment on my video... -Dan

  • God of the iblie is "arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, malevolent bully"

the Founding Fathers considered religion to be a threat to democracy. Thomas Jefferson claimed "Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone on man"

  • In fairness to Thomas Jefferson, some of the modern quotes attributed to him are false. The following quote is not found among the writings of Thomas Jefferson; therefore, it should be considered false... "Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone on man."

Thomas Jefferson only ever spoke out against corruption that SOMETIMEs is issued through religions. Jefferson himself was a christian... A Unitarian to be exact.
