for those that beat this game without dying should not only classify himself as a gamer but should most importantly automatically classify himself as a real ninja
I bought a NES a couple months ago and I also bought ninja Gaiden 1 and 2, even though i still play them a lot...those are the two hardest games i've ever played
@zerker12568901 Sir you don't know what the hell you're talking about, this video makes it easy, hell this game made me want to kill myself at age 5 this game is still a pain in the ass, ninja gaiden black hard? HAH it's got nothing on this game.
THIS GAME HAVE THE WEIRDESTS enemies EVERs! FROM.. bikers to karate guys..to a guy with a huge skull trowing knifes.. crazy leopards,,,machine gun guys..
Don't forget the suicide football players with military green uniforms, ninjas with jet packs, Muhammad Ali wannabe boxers, some kind of dogs in turtle shells.
I don't know what are he things at 7:10, but i call them "LAS HISTERICAS".
I had no idea how to get past 1:57. I never gone any further, and I had no idea what was up after that... until now. Thanks! And of course the time it took you to reach here I was probably still defeating the second enemy. YOU ROCK!
The emulator used was NEStopia and video was recorded using NEStopia´s game record function, if a save state was made it would stop the recording at taht point too, I know it looks suspicious, but believe me it took me a lot to acomplish this.
I remember 6-2 being insanely difficult, because enemies would gang up on you and trip you, and if your timing was not perfect, you'd fall into the crevasse. The last part of 6-3 was bad too, but 6-2 was the worst.
This was interesting the way you used the Jump and Slash on all the enemies except for Basaquer (3-3), Jaquio, and in the final battle in screen 6-5. Most of them could be easily defeated without the Jump and Slash EXCEPT for Jaquio and the final battle (6-5). I would let Jaquio defeat me once when playing this game, then repeat the board 6-3, so that I could get the Jump and Slash to use on him. Otherwise, defeating Jaquio requires considerable dexterity to dodge the fireballs he throws.
This is a little late, but there is a glitch where you wall-jump to the top of the screen, then jump towards Jaquio. He damage boosts you offscreen where you can easily slash him without getting hit again. This makes the fight a lot easier.
I had to memorize what items i could take and and try not to lose the spin slash, i can beat the bosses without it too, but i like to kick their asses as fastas possible.
And is there any way at all to beat the chapter 5 boss without taking damage? All I could do was fawkin' slash away at him while taking damage myself.
In the upper part of the screen where the score, lives left and life are diplayed, in the middle there's an icon, that icon shows your current wepaon, the jump spin is a blue with an "S" Shape, to do the spin jump you must have that weapon, jump and while jumping push the attack button.
I've always done it like this, without the Spiral Attack move: If you have an extra life, at 3:45, you can just kill yourself to restart with a full set of health. Not much effort needed to proceed to the next area from there. Then when you fight the guy, get close to him and just constantly slash him, he'll hit you and push you back, just get close to him again and hack away and you will eventually kill him with about half of your health intact. He'll probably hit you like 3 or 4 times.
One option is the spinjump, but it's hard to get there with it, another option wpould be to use that power taht allows you to throw fire, another way is using only your sword you musto go directly to the enmy and start hitting him, when he throws you the lighting go again it's hard, but possible.
Maybe soon i'll upload a video showing how to beat him with no wepaon.
That one i actually find pretty easy... but Jaquio itself is a total pain. I mean I've been really close to crying cus of that dude(long time ago, today it's just frustrating).
Yeah, I remember that kind of frutration... Worst of all was getting killed and start al over from the bridge, that made me throw the controller in anger
I used to get ever item and not worry about getting there with the weapon - Games back then was trail and error. - Once you fail a couple of times you develope your timing and patterns. - Then the next time you play it. - you don't even need to save. - Just flow through it in half an hour or less.
i have ninja gaiden for playstation 3.. da graphics is just sooo amazing now.. but i remember when i had ninja gaiden for da nintendo system... memories!
I remember being so confused growing up as to why 6-2 was SO much harder than 6-3. Beating this game was a true triumph of my childhood. You made it look ridiculously easy. Bravo!

6-2 is so dificult that gamefaqs has an entire FAQ just for that level.

The game is damn unfair without it lol

I beat him, but that makes me look stupid lol.
Astaticembrace 2 years ago
You can also hold down while jumping to do a regular slash while you have the spin splash special to save magic.
caulfield78 2 years ago
another question i downloaded it but i cant figure out how to do the jump spin attack move you use to kill most of the bosses
atfguy89 2 years ago
In the upper part of the screen where the score, lives left and life are diplayed, in the middle there's an icon, that icon shows your current wepaon, the jump spin is a blue with an "S" Shape, to do the spin jump you must have that weapon, jump and while jumping push the attack button.

atfguy89 2 years ago
that happened when i recorded the game, but when i was playing it didn't happen.

Damn you kept that Spiral Attack for hell long.
OPTICSx209 2 years ago
I've never made it past the boss at 5-4. Now that I know that spinning move kills everything so damn well I'll go back and see what I can do.

when i was playing this game many years ago, I've stuck in the moment 1:59. You are the clever one to use bird's attack

how the hell do i beat that guy that shoots the lighting out at the end of act 5??
