@TheSWA2011 By The Way is a great album. It was primarily written by John Frusciante, and it was his attempt at expanding the band's sound. I think he did an excellent job. One Hot Minute was also a good album. I actually listen to it quite a bit. Warped, Aeroplane and One Big Mob are awesome, but you can feel the missing link on that album. I hate to sound like a Frusciante fanboy, but the Chili Peppers aren't the same without him.
