Pins removed from my leg after breaking it

Thanks for the post. My friend got it from a parachute landing. He drank up a bottle of bourbon to get ready for the pain of the pins coming out, but didn't feel a thing and the doctor had to tell him, "All done!"

I have had this above my knee. 3 pins on each side with a Halo on each side &  3 screws between them. They spread the 2 apart every week for 4 months. I was in violent pain for 6 months. Pin removal was just as much fun. Trust me, there's no amount of morphine to ease things. It's like yanking rink shank nails from a 2x4. This hurts so bad

These barbarians have never heard of an air wrench? "Hang on mate, I'll just go get me channel locks out of my tool box". Remember the meat aint done till the skewers can be removed easily.

Hah Im getting my pins pulled out tomorow (broke my leg playing hockey) but its not like that its just pins that come like 2 cm out of my leg
