Hmm, apparently the author was involved with the original concept story for the pc game Homeworld.

Gets mad props just for that.

Indeed, their voices are kind of weak. The fact they didn't drop any f-bombs also makes it seem less like the characters from the book...

Interesting peek into a killer book. (I got to read an advance copy--it's an amazing read, literally can't-put-it-down good.)
