Everyone is equal in a national health service..... what can't Americans get about that? When The NHS act of 1946 was placed there was a lot of uproar in Britain with rich folk and a lot of the public believed in the media that slated it. But from 1948 onwards people couldn't see a Britain with out it.

People are equal and the rich don't profit from it. There is your reason. It comes out of your taxations and it amounts to nothing compared to private medicare.

health care reform passed in senate now going to congress. iwas going to go to med school to become a m.d. but i called them and change my career plan and classes to a different career

2. Great tax credits (at least as much as corporations get for their employees benefits) for individual purchase of health care insurance.

3. Remove government mandates of purchasing insurance for employees (although still free to decide that).

These should be almost no cost to the government. They allow private businesses and health insurance companies to be more competitive.

Thanks for making this good video to help us understand what government is trying to get away with.

Keeping costs lower is what we all want. To do this, government should just:

1. Outlaw 100% coverage insurance by one plan, allowing only 99% payment of the cost. The insured would be responsible for the rest or they could buy a second insurance plan. This would get us all engaged in lowering health care costs, because we would see and feel the 1%.

Oh, we all know that any gov't budget estimate is purest BS. Uncle nanny can't EVER bring anything under budget, let alone such a shambles of a pork-job bill.

They're gonna spend as much of our money as they can get (and more), whatever the boondoggle. I'm more concerned about what this will do to our personal liberties and social structure. Better poor and free than poor and trapped in socialism. ='[.]'=

They never do, on purpose. They spend way more then they need to justify taking more and expanding whatever the program is.
