  • Priest, achimandrite and dean of the Sebian Ortodox Church School - Metodije Muzdeka who died in 1977 knew entire Bible, old and new testament by heart. It's the matter of public record but it's very hard to fnd it on the intenet, even in Serbian.

  • The Bible keeps changing, so what good would it do to memorize it? There are at last count 9 different major versions, how useful is it to memorize it?

  • I have a friend who has memorised the Bible. Keep at it!

  • Many are able to memorize the Bible. It's great to do so.

However, few are able to put the very words they practice into true use.

No one is able to truly do so without the Spirit.

  • @StevieWonder501 If you memorize the entire bible the spirit will find you.

  • I memorized the entire bible in 6 months. Jack Van Impe will have me on his show someday. Rexella is hot.

  • The KJV bible has 66 books. King James 6th of Scotland, born 6/1566, in 1611 authorized it. You carry it in your hand, you memorize it in your head. It breaks the new covenant of God writing His law in our hearts by the Spirit.

THE BIBLE IS THE MARK OF THE BEAST!

  • @BIBLEisMARKofBEAST

Good God...(no pun intended)To memorize the bible is a brain busting feat(I could if I put my skills to it)

But you would think that memorizing the bible would make someone be able to compare bible verses together and see interesting things.

As "Bart Ertman"(spell check) has done :Misquoting Jesus"great book

  • @lopytube Memorizing the bible will not make you a Christian. You would be much better off, fasting and praying and seeking for the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost will teach you all things, He will comfort you, lead you and make intercessions for you. Reading the bible gives you knowledge of the history of the Jews, it's good information but you cannot find salvation by reading it.

THE BIBLE IS THE MARK OF THE BEAST!

  • @BIBLEisMARKofBEAST

the funny.I didnt realize thats your name.

Its funny you call the holyghost a he.lol

Just a testament of the patriarcial pervasion and control over the public since the beginnings of the epoch

  • @lopytube I never think of Angels or spirits as male or female. I guess in our references in english and by us living in the flesh we may be incorrect and rude in speach, but the meaning remains the same. Jesus died to send us back the Holy Ghost and without that regenerated seed, you're a serpent seed. So seek the Holy Ghost.

THE BIBLE IS THE MARK OF THE BEAST!

  • I'd like to see him quote the names in the genealogies LOL!

  • This can be done. The brain is truly incredible.

  • WIKI states... between 1923–1949, 700+ local churches were created with an attendance of more than 70,000. During the Chinese Communist takeover, these formed the core of house municipalities. Through the efforts of Nee and his colleagues, local assemblies were founded all over China and in the Far East. Some of Nee's co-workers in this work later would become known outside of China....which muslim/christian can equal their zeal for GOD...then prove it.

  • Just for everbody's information: China's Ni Tuo Sheng aka Watchman Nee of Shanghai, memorised the bible AND he required his key pastors/elders to do the same. I was attached to the group ie 4th/5th generation christian personally knowing Nee's 3rd generation Pastors. .

Are u unaware of the fact that during the cultural revolution -80s, chinese christians memorising the bible in whole was COMMONPLACE. nearly every HOUSE GROUP HAD AT LEAST ONE, a feat unequalled in history!!

  • Thanks S.Anderson, I am going to try memorize using your method. God bless you in your quest to memorize. Are you half way through New Testament yet? :-)

  • There was someone who memorized the entire bible not only in English, but Greek and Hebrew as well.

  • @iahawkette I believe it, but who?

  • I heard that this guy can't even drive a stick shift.

    pfft.

  • Seems I have heard of someone memorizing a lot of the bible if not all of it, so I don't think he'd be the first. But, could be wrong.

  • @robums54 Total waste of time. I would rather memorize " Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves" The O.T. is even painful to read, Figure memorizing all this" insanity"..

  • haha !! muslims can memorize the holy quran in less than 6 months

  • @mafiadondogg Except that the quran is shorter than the New Testament, let alone the whole Bible!

    Quran = 114 chapters

    New Testament = 260 chapters

    Entire Bible = 1,189 chapters

    Quran = 6,236 verses

    New Testament = 7,958 verses

    Entire Bible = 31,103

The quran is not even close to the length of the Bible!

  • @sanderson1611 i thought the koran was 6,666 verses?

  • @sanderson1611

Doesn't mater how smal the Quran is. The fact of the matter is muslims can memorize their entire book as a sign of it's validity from God. Children at 7 YEARS OLD memorize the entire Quran. Stop making excuses. The pastor in the video hasn't even memorized just the new testament alone which is almost the same length as the Quran. It took him 2 yrs to memriz 1/3 of new testmnt. It takes muslims an avrg of 2 yrs to memriz Quran. Besides no 1 has memriz even entir new testmnt alon

  • @HKAMARA NOT EVEN ONE PERSON HAS EVERY MEMORIZED THE NEW OR OLD TESTAMENT (LET ALONE THE BIBLE) IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE, WHILE THERE HAVE BEEN COUNTLESS MEMORIZERS OF THE QURAN. YOU'VE HAD MORE THAN TWO THOUSAND YEARS TO DO IT, DON'T MAKE ANY EXCUSE. ISLAM CAME ABOUT HALF A MILLENNIUM AFTER CHRISTIANITY WITH SOOO MANY MEMORIZERS. HOW MANY MORE SIGNS DO YOU NEED. BTW: ISLAM IS AGAINST TERRORISM. THE VERSES THAT PEOPLE USUALLY REFER TO FROM D QURAN ARE TAKEN OUT OF HISTORICAL CONTEXT.

  • @sanderson1611 lol but muslims can memorize it in less than a year , i havnt heard of people who memorized half of the new testament atleast ,there are millions of muslims who have

  • @mafiadondogg - The Bible is about 10 times the size of the Qur'an. That is an unfair comparison.

  • @MultiArchangel i said half the new testament ,which is less than the quran ,and plus in aramaic which was the language of jesus ,try memorizing half of something which is not even you mother tongue ,people all over the world non arabic speakers memorize it and its not even their language ,millions of people ,pastors themselvs use the bible to quote from and plus its easy made in english ,mulsims do it in a more difficult language

  • @MultiArchangel and we dont memorize it to show off ,we do it because that way it can never be corrupted ,every muslim in this world reads the same word for word ,its a miracle ,since 1400 years ago till now there is no person who memorizes it differently ,that is proof that it was not corrupted and if there are qurans that differ ,why were those not memorized ,and cant be memorized? god knows why :-)

  • @mafiadondogg - Being able to memorize the book is not proof of it's inspiration.

  • @MultiArchangel no but its proof of preservation, why was the bible changed so many times if u say that it is a perfect book? something which is perfect should never be changed ,because changes takes things away from its original form, and in time it becomes something that it is not... what im trying to say is that the bible is no longer the word of god if its been changed so much... but if u believe it is than i wont argue with that ,but think for yourself

  • "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever."john 14:16 ,Some Christians say that the Comforter mentioned in these prophecies refers to the Holy Sprit. They fail to realise that the prophecy clearly says that only if Jesus (pbuh) departs will the Comforter come. The Bible states that the Holy Spirit was already present on earth before and during the time of Jesus (pbuh), in the womb of Elizabeth, who is this comforter? tell me

  • the word used is periclytos ,which means advocate ,what is an advocate?? it is a person who speaks on the behalf of something ,what is a messanger? is it not the same thing , now u tell me ,when does the holy spirit ever speak? if it is in u ,why are there still people on this earth sinning?

  • jesus (pbuh) prophesied non other than muhammad(pbuh) believe it or not... there is too much evidence

  • @mafiadondogg - No he did not sir. That is a lie that the Muslims have told for far too long and it needs to be put to rest.

  • @MultiArchangel Ok my friend ,than u explain to me why jesus would say that there will be a helper ,he will come from the father which is in heaven ,he will speak what he hears from the father, does the holy spirit speak to u? if u say yes than i will leave ,but before u say yes ,think for yourself if the holy spirit ever spoke to u..

  • @mafiadondogg - The Holy Spirit is the one He was talking about in those verses. He states so quite a few times my friend. Jesus was quite clear on that.

  • @MultiArchangel but why would he use gender if it was the holy spirit? and why did he say that he must leave in order for the spirit of truth to come .when the holy spirit was already on earth? jesus was born when the holy spirit came to mary ,so was he not already on earth? and why would he use the word ahmad? which happens to be the heavenly name of muhammad? which means the same...and who is "the prophet" that the jews were waiting for? where is he than

  • @mafiadondogg - The Holy Spirit is considered "He" because God is considered "He" as well. God is given a masculine pronoun. The Holy Spirit is God's Spirit. He said that He had to leave so the Helper would come to them. It was on Earth, but not in them. Not yet anyway. The word used in the sentence does not matter anyway. The person who came was the Holy Spirit and Muhammad is was not a spirit so the word used makes no difference.

  • @MultiArchangel but my question is did the spirit ever speak to u? and if it did guide u unto all truth ,why does paul contradict what jesus said? would jesus give u a set of rules and then make someone destroy it? the whole theory doesnt make sense ,the trinity is not understood by many christians ,most christians are confused ,and god says in the bible that he is not the master of confusion...

  • @mafiadondogg - How did Paul contradict Jesus? I am curious of hearing what you mean by that.

  • if jesus were god ,he would say that he is ,but he didnt ,if he wanted u to pray to a trinity ,moses ,david, abraham and jesus would teach u to practice that ,dont u think?

  • john 1:20 He did not fail to confess, but confessed freely, "I am not the Christ." john 1:21 They asked him, "Then who are you? Are you Elijah?" He said, "I am not." "Are you the Prophet?" He answered, "No." ,now we know who elijah is ,we know who the messiah is, but who is the prophet? is it not clear that the jews were waiting for a prophet? and jesus(pbuh) used the pereclytos which means advocate ,which is also a messanger..so there i have evidence that muhammad(pbuh) is true

  • what about when god told moses that he will send a prophet which will speak what he hears ,that prophet could be no other prophet... muhammad spoke what he heard ,he was unlettered but he could make the quran which is the most powerful religious book ,is not not enough evidence?

  • @mafiadondogg - You are referring to Deuteronomy 18 I believe. The prophet there is Jesus Christ:

    Acts 3 vs22-

For Moses truly said to the fathers, 'The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you will hear in all things, whatever He says to you.

    John 1 vs45-

Philip found Nathanael and said to him, "We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote-Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

    (Next)

  • @mafiadondogg - Two more verses:

    Jesus 5 vs46, 47-

For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me.

But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?

  • @MultiArchangel yes moses definitly prophesied jesus in the law ,but that verse no,because the prophet like moses was supposed to be like moses ,what similarities did jesus and moses have aside from being of jewish race? moses was married ,jesus was not, moses brought a law ,jesus did not, moses people accepted him ,they did not accept jesus ,moses had a normal death and jesus was ressurected ,how is jesus the prophet like moses?

  • @mafiadondogg - There are only 3 requirements needed to be the prophet that Moses spoke of and non of them are in your comment. Those are not the similarities needed.

  • @MultiArchangel what are the requirements u tell me?

  • @mafiadondogg - Here they are:

    Exodus 34 vs10 -

But since then there has not arisen in Israel a prophet like Moses whom the LORD knew face to face.

[11] In all the signs and wonders which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt, before Pharaoh, before all his servants, and in all his land.

The prophet must have the following profile:

    1. He must be an Israelite

    2. He must know the face of God.

    3. He must perform signs and wonders.

    Those are the requirements.

  • @MultiArchangel Lol wow!! no he does not have to be an israelite ,he just have to be brethren of moses ,and ishmael had the same blood as moses did ,he was the brother of isaac and they both had abrahams blood ,he must know the face of god? according to the bible no one ever saw the face of god ,and according to the bible ,and signs and miracles were performed ,look at my channel ,a 4 month old baby memorized the quran ,the other baby has verses wriitten on his body

  • @mafiadondogg - The miracles must be performed by the prophet not my Muslim children memorizing the Qur'an etc. The book of Deuteronomy records that Moses knew the face of God though not in all it's glory. The Ishmaelites may be brethren, but they are not given the term. He was not referring to them in those verses.

  • @MultiArchangel would god tell ishmael that he promises him a great nation if he didnt mean it? how can god promise a great nation a false religion ,does that make any sense ? god was refering to a prophet like moses and muhammad fulfills the prophecy ,many jews and rabbi's have accepted this ,No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known.john 1:18 ,this totally contradicts the verse of moses seeing god..

  • @mafiadondogg - Not necessarily. There are instances where men can see God. They just cannot see God in all His glory because the would die if they did.

  • @mafiadondogg - Yet another verse to prove my point:

    Genesis 32 vs30-

So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: "For I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved."

There are instances where one can see the face of God, just not in all it's glory.

  • @MultiArchangel Please read Ex 33:20-23 moses did not see god, according to Genesis 32:30,jacob saw an angel ,u people are taking things outta context... and taking out more errors from your book

  • @MultiArchangel John 5:37, Jesus said that no one had ever seen God at anytime or ever heard his voice. so it still contradicts the verse of moses

  • @MultiArchangel that is signs for today, what about histrical evidence which is the hadeeth, like you refer to the bible as historical evidence we have the hadeeth ,and it shows alot of signs and predictions that can be proven today, should i show u the predictions? that u are seeing today? how would muhammad(pbuh) know what is going to happen if he was not from god?

  • @MultiArchangel u havnt explained to me who "the prophet" john 1:20-21 ,who is that? doesnt this whole pattern make sense ,and that name "ahmad" tops everything up...and exactly my point "But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?" ,so paul says that u dont need to follow the law ,does that make sense ? is that not contradicting that verse ,in order to believe in jesus u need to follow the law of moses ,which u cannot do as a trinitarian

  • if u follow the law of moses ,u will have to believe in the 10 commandments ,and if u do ,u cannot believe the trinity ,and if u dont follow the law ,u cant follow jesus...jesus clearly said that he did not come to destroy the law but to abide by it,if u believe in the new covenant than u are saying that jesus came to change the law which is also contradicting his words ,the whole trinitarian practice goes against the teachings of christ ,how can u still believe in that?

  • @mafiadondogg - Jesus was the one who started the new covenant my friend.

  • @MultiArchangel how ?? did he say dont circumsize? did he say u can worship 3 gods ? did he say that the law can be changed ? did he say that u can break the commandments? i dont think so hey ,paul is the one who said that after jesus was sacrificed ,u no longer need to do all that ,when did jesus say u free from it?

  • @mafiadondogg - Actually Paul seemed to advocate against the Ceremonial laws, but not against God's moral standards. Consider this:

    Exodus 20 vs12 -

Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you.

    [13] You shall not murder.

[14] You shall not commit adultery.

    [15] You shall not steal.

[16] You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

Now let's compare that with some of Paul's writings in my next post. (Next)

  • @mafiadondogg - Look here:

    Romans 1 vs29 -

Being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil mindedness; they are whisperers,

[30] Backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

[32] Who knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death...

Here we see Paul making reference to the 10 commandments.

  • @MultiArchangel lol please ,jesus said the original commandments ,where is idolatry in pauls version? what about the law of moses ,if u people dont believe the law ,how on earth are u believing jesus? the lord your god is one god ,where is that ? paul hasnt fulfilled any prophecies ,he took people away from the teachings of jesus ,and trinitarians are falling for it

  • @mafiadondogg - The covenant made with the Hebrew people was broken about 700 years or so before Jesus arrived. A new covenant was announced, and Jesus ushered the covenant in during the last supper. I will give you the verses from scripture to prove this. Look at the following post. (Next)

  • look here its like this ,i go to the USA ok? i get elected as the president ,but i put obama higher in authority ,while he is dead, i bring out laws,i praise black people ,i tell the black people that obama was the king of black people all over the world , and i bring out my own rules saying its from obama , u see whats happenin here? they are immediately starting to focus on what i am saying and forgetting him because they think i am on his side ,so paul made jesus god jus as a cover up

  • @mafiadondogg - Your analogy does not work because the Messiah was declared to be God before and after His death so your analogy does not apply here.

  • @MultiArchangel where was the messiah declared to be god? do u know what a messiah is? and before u tell me go and check the jewish view of a messiah ,than u can tell me...because clearly muslims are the only people who believe that jesus is the messiah that the jews are waiting for ,not even the jews believe he is ,but we do ,so explain to me what is a messiah

  • @MultiArchangel he made jesus god ,to deceive them and take them away from the teachings of jesus ,and he added his own teachings ,do u know that circumcision is an everlasting covenant ,do u think god would make an everlasting covenant and than break it? lol that is insane ,paul really got u guys hooked ,i feel sorry for u..its either u believe paul or believe jesus

  • @mafiadondogg - Jeremiah 31 vs31- Behold the days are coming says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah-

[32] NOT according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they BROKE, though I was a husband to them, says the LORD.

The Hebrew people broke the previous covenant that God made with them. Now consider these next verses. (Next)

  • @mafiadondogg - Now look here my friend:

    Matthew 26 vs26-

And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, ad gave it to the disciples and said,

"Take, eat; this is My body.

[27] Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you.

[28] For this is My blood of the NEW COVENANT, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

During the last supper Jesus stated that there was a new covenant that he started. Jeremiah also. (Next)

  • @mafiadondogg - Paul did not make Jesus to be God either. There are others that preached that the Messiah would be God. This is not something that just Paul said, and there are other writings to confirm this. I believe both Paul and Jesus and every other prophet and apostle. It is not an "either" "or" type of thing my friend. I am not hooked on anything.

  • @MultiArchangel look again ,jesus did not say that he will die for anyones sins ,blood will be shed doesnt mean death btw ,and no where did jesus say that a new covenant can break the law of moses ,because that would be another contradiction ,jesus said he did not come to change the law ,and if this covenant he talks about changes the law than he is clearly contradicting himself...read matthew 5:17 and tell me what do u believe?

  • @mafiadondogg - I can see that you are going to be difficult to reach. You are one of those stubborn ones. Very well. That verse does mean he was going to die on our behalf. There are MANY verses where he states this plainly. I can give you quite a few. Here we god. (Next)

  • @mafiadondogg - Now look here:

    John 3 vs16-

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

    Matthew 16 vs20-

Then He commanded His disciples that they should tell no one that He was Jesus the Christ.

[21] From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised to third day.

  • @mafiadondogg - Yet another verse:

    John 10 vs17-

Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again.

[18] No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.....

Jesus clearly states that He would die. He says in John 10 vs15 that He would lay down His life for the the sheep. He laid it down for use. You say I am not listening to what Jesus says, yet I seem to be the ONLY ONE listening here.

  • @mafiadondogg - Jesus did not break the law of Moses. The Jews did prior to His incarnation as a human being. I already gave you the verses from Jeremiah to prove this. Now for another verse:

    Isaiah 51 vs16-

And I have put My words in your mouth; I have covered you with the shadow of My hand, that I may plant the heavens, lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, 'You are My people.' "

Now I will explain the verses. (Next)

  • @mafiadondogg - In Matthew 5:17 when Jesus said not one jot or tittle would pass until heaven and earth pass it is a proverb. Isaiah 51 vs16 declares that God used the Hebrews to plant the heavens, and lay the foundation of the earth by placing His words in their mouth. You cannot literally plant heaven and earth using literal people. His words are referring to the covenant of Mount Sinai, which they broke. Heaven and Earth refer to the old covenant that the Jews broke during Jeremiah's time.

  • @mafiadondogg - By the way, I believe the Qur'an states something similar:

    Qu'ran Surah 3 vs50-

And [I have come] confirming what was before me of the Torah and to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you. And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so fear Allah and obey me.

According to the Qur'an Jesus came to make the unlawful, lawful. You should really not have a problem with this because even that verse from your Qur'an says so.

  • christians have taken the words of jesus out of context ,and deceived you into believing something else ,no one pays attention to what jesus(pbuh) says but u claim to be his followers ,would he really contradict himself? or do u agree with me that its the bible

  • @mafiadondogg - We are not taking anything out of context. You are not paying attention my friend.

  • unitarian christianity is true according to islam ,they are 99.9%muslim, ,dont u think for yourself that jesus is right and not paul? who is more powerful? paul or jesus? well muslims believe jesus... trinitarians believe paul

  • @mafiadondogg - none*

  • @mafiadondogg - Sorry. I meant to say John*.

  • @HKAMARA Except that the quran is shorter than the New Testament, let alone the whole Bible!

The quran is not even close to the length of the Bible!

  • lol well than ,memorize only the new testament ,lets see how many people can do it ,thers 10 million+ recorded hafiz in this world ,can 1 million christians do it?

  • did u hear about the guy from palestine who was shot ,he got brain damaged ,only thing he could remeber was the quran, now thats what u call from god, quran cant be changed coz of this 10 million hafiz

  • @mafiadondogg Do you have the Quran memorized?

  • @HKAMARA Yeah, & just look at the fruit of that religeon. Terrorism, slavery etc. I don't recall when was the last time a Lutheran went & blew up a school. Or if some Presbyterians flew planes into buildings. Memorizing the Koran isn't exactly something to be proud of, but rather ashamed.

  • @HKAMARA nope...satan...will do anything to stop a believer memorizing the words of truth! (the bible) ... therefore there are not many people who actually memorized it..

  • @HKAMARA Priest, achimandrite and dean of the Sebian Ortodox Church School - Metodije Muzdeka who died in 1977 knew entire Bible, old and new testament by heart. It's the matter of public record but it's very hard to fnd it on the intenet, even in Serbian. And this guy died yong, he was in his 40's when God toke him. So it was the God given gifth. Quran is a joke comparing to The Bible, in every way. Especialy if we talk about The Truth.

  • @HKAMARA "How many memorizers of the bible:ZERO." False. I have never done a thorough study of the subject, but I know one man personally who has memorized the entire Bible, both Old and New Testaments (including memorizing the NT in two different translations). And I know several people, including myself, who have memorized the entire New Testament, as well as large chunks of the OT.

  • Wow I loved to see your son doing it along with you. Way to go guys.

  • Because in the early Church, writing materials were very expensive, especially for a book as huge as a Bible, so it was very common for them to memorize the Bible.

  • Trouble is with this I doubt he can pull out 1 verse out of the middle.I have long stretches memorized too,but cannot get out say 1 key verse, out a long stretch.I have to say it all to remember it.

  • @24thchance

Ha Ha Ha! Isn't that true! I have to recite my whole Social Security number anytime I am asked for the last 4 digits!!

  • even if he memorizes the bible it does not mean he understands it...he's a neophyte...a newbee who is slandering everyone he can think of..he's a nut!

  • @ReinaValera1865 I am not familiar with the man memorizing the bible in this video, but as far as memorization techniques for books go, would'nt Harry Lorayne and Jack Lucas' book on memory be the best approach? I have heard about photo reading, but near as I can tell any success that that techniques boasts of come from the techniques that already existed and never reach the speed that the pushers of that program boast. But it is an established fact that Lorayne's methods work!

  • Steven Anderson! he's that crazy asshole who wants to see Obama dead and prays for God to give him brain cancer or something because of his stance on abortion, Not someone you should look up to or respect.

  • There is a preacher, very old now, in Ashland, Kentucky who has had the entire Bible memorized for a long time now.

  • @jennyhayes87 What is his name? Also does he have a website? I think that such a person would be very famous. If you watch the above video Pastor Steve even states that " as fare as he knows, no one has ever memorized the Bible that he is aware of".

  • @moali68 They're Muslims who have memorized the entire bible, as i've mentioned before, Shabbir Ali, Zakir Naik, and Ahmed Deedat.

  • @Coldbloodedkiller09 Yes, and what good does it do if you do not understand the intent of the book? Radicals have hijacked Islam and see what's happened. Just because you read a book, doesn't mean you understand it. The Bible and Kuran are NOT literal books. They are metaphors and fables, period. Anyone who believes differently is patently wrong.

  • Wow, no one has ever memorized the Bible,

while Millions of people have memorized the Quran.

Would God make his word easy or difficult for people to retain?

Also why skip past the Old Testament directly into the New Testament?

  • @moali68 First of all, I am sure that people have memorized the Bible before, just as the Koran. I am also sure, though, that there are much less people who have memorized the Bible, because the Bible is over twice as long as the Koran. Considering that the amount of Christians and Muslims are about the same, it makes sense that less have memorized the Bible.

  • @Annoyer101 Can you please enlighten me as to who has memorized the Bible and in what language.

-There is actually a wikipedia page for the many famous people who have memorized the Quran.

  • @Annoyer101 Sorry but the amount of christians and muslims is not the same, there are about 700 million more Christians more than Muslims. But the gap will close in a couple of years, since Islam is the Fastest growing religion in the world, as of today. And i am more than sure even if the Quran was the same length as the bible, there would still have been more Muslims memorizing the Quran, than Christians, the Bible.

  • @moali68 I GUESS THIS IS VERY AMAZING FOR CHRISTIANS, SINCE THEY DON'T KNOW THAT THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 5 MILLION MUSLIMS WHO HAVE MEMORIZED THE QURAN. THERE ARE WELL KNOWN MUSLIMS WHO HAVE ALREADY MEMORIZED THE BIBLE TOO, LIKE DR. ZAKIR NAIK AND DR. AHMED DEEDAT.

  • @moali68 THUMBS UP FOR ISLAM!!!

  • Kim Peak(R.I.P.) could recite the entire Bible by the age of 6.

  • Big whopee! I'd be suprised if you memorized it verse by verse, but I've been there and done that by age 15. Though unfortunately I wasn't given a choice, raised baptist fundie, I was forced to read the bible every day as if it were that important.

  • @abdishtar IT is, the Gospel has the power to save your soul.

  • @HedeenJeff

Save my imaginary soul from what? An imaginary fireplace? Yeah, not really in need of saving

  • @abdishtar ITs not Imaginary, its more real than the temperal world you live in. We were created by a Spirit. that you, cant see.

  • @HedeenJeff

How do you know a spirit you can't see exists?

Actually, something is real or it isn't, there is no such thing as "more real" or "less real", it is just one of those words that are binary. And spirits, as far as I know, aren't real. As they are supernatural, and from what I know, only the natural exists.

  • @abdishtar And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. - Hebrews 11:6. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. - 1 Corinthians 3:19

  • @HedeenJeff

Good for those books, I don't care.

And the Quran says that only those who believe in Allah and what his prophet Muhammad said will escape hell.

And the same spoke Zarathustra, about belief in his god Ahura Mazda and hell.

Yet, I prefer to take advice from reality, not fairytale books.

  • @abdishtar That book and its beliefs are daming. One satans many tricks to curse people into hell. Hes been judged and not forgiven so hes trying to take as many down with him as he can,

  • @HedeenJeff

And Allah told Muhammad, that the shaytan corrupted the bible, and is why there is a Quran. And Zarathustra said that Ahriman makes good things go bad to damn them.

Look, I'm not buying it just because it comes out of your religion, as your religion is just as legit as Islam, Zoroastrianism and even Hinduism and Wicca. Regardless of what you believe about those religions

  • @abdishtar I actully apologize for attributing things to him that I dont know are his direct doing. But i do know its a daming doctrine. The God of the Bible is the one true God.

  • @HedeenJeff '

One true god? Which one? As from what I understand, that varies book to book.

Besides, how are we to know that the Bible is the one that is right? And not the Adi Granth, Avesta, Quran, Upanishads and whatnot?

  • @abdishtar Consider the countless martyrs of The Christian Faith. (check out Foxs book of martyrs) There is a kindom of darkness and a Kingdonm of light, which is truth and faith, etc. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. -John 1:5

  • @HedeenJeff

Yes, consider the christian martyrs, as well as the islamic ones such as those who flew planes into buildings, or the persian ones. Consider the countless jewish martyrs. All of which lacked truth, and because of ignorance and faith, lost their life, just to reach their home in the clouds. Yet what did that get them? From the lack of anyone living in heaven (the sky), It didn't get them much.

In truth I trust, and in faith, there is no truth, just blind acceptance.

  • @abdishtar The only true Martrys are The Lord of Heavins Armies Martrys and they are mostly a mystery to us. I tell you this as a slave of Jesus Christ.

  • @HedeenJeff

First, the bible says not to worship Baal Shamim (In hebrew, lord of the heavens), as its a pagan god you dont believe in

second, don't say what is a mystery to us. Certainly there may be things Jesus knew that you didn't, but I know more than Jesus ever did, and did so by the time I was 5. Case and point, I could read.

Third, I don't really care about your religious beliefs, they mean nothing to me

  • @abdishtar Woship of any other God other than the God of the bible is an abomination to him. No you dont know more than Jesus ever did, Hes the Author of Life, the word of God. He didnt even become to be called Jesus Christ until he was incarnated as the word made flesh. Everything god made he created through him. Hes much more than man.

  • @HedeenJeff

To me, Jesus is just a illiterate, ileducated jew of the first century ce, that's why I think/know I am smarter than he is and know more. Heck, i even know more than much of the educated people of that time, such as Socrates and Herodotus. That's not a bad thing nor an insult, it's just a era difference.

You may that man as a god, I personally don't. I also don't believe the Bible has credibility, if you think it does, it's your perogative.

  • @abdishtar im sure God is laughing at you. who created your mind to even start to think'? i dont think you did right'? not your parents either'? you think is possible you are smarter then he who created your brain.... you are funny man

  • @godservant777

Ironically, it is my parents who created my brain, and definitely my mind is the same as my brain

  • @abdishtar so what is your version of truth? what do you think truth is?

  • @bumper212

What is my version of the truth? Unlike religion, truth doesn't have versions, it has reality. Reality has no versions, It isn't reliant on what I think. I like reality.

  • and what has memorizing done for this guy? i suggest you check out his videos more

  • Many thousands over the centuries have memorized the entire Qur'an...it was revealed in such a way and desgined to be memorized. The Bible as we have it today is NOT designed so..because as we have it today it is not a complete book..it is truncated and artificially composed. The Qur'an is like a musical symphony. Trying to memorize the Bible is like trying to memorize a book report

  • What palpable nonesense. The Pharisees had to memorize the Pentateuch as part of their training, and David says "I have hidden your word in my heart." People have been memorizing the Bible for centuries. The Qur'an may be a "symphony" to you, but I was incredibly underwhelmed by it!

  • They have been memorizing it in its original language not the King James translation that YOU know...you were underwhelmed by Qur'an possibly because you are lacking in true faith. A lot of so called Christians (you may be one of them) are only partisans of a team as in a sports contest...not true people of faith. You may be jealous or feel threatened by what you cannot understand. So you don what many such do instead of extend your understanding you attack what you do not understand

  • Hey, people DIED to get the Bible in a language they could understand! because they had a true desire to know God, not simply join a "religion."Jesus said; "I am the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father (God) except through Me." That is "true faith" my friend. As for nominal Christians, yes they ought to repent and become REAL Christians, and so should you!

  • Most MuslimsI know not only are more sincere in their adherance to thier faith but also know the bible better than a lot of christians including clergy. You should try and be sincere to your OWN faith if youcan and stop thinking you can tell others what to believe. The very fact that you've taken time out of your life to debate me on this issue shows you have too much time on your hands. Try to help someone who genuinely needs help and stop trying to proslytize. God knows His children

  • They maybe "sincere," but of what value is that, if what one believes is not true? If you do not know Jesus Christ, then the Bible says, it is you who "genuinely need help." But if you know God's Word so well, I guess you're already aware of that need, right?

  • U are one of those so called "christians" who gave the religion a bad name in Africa, Asia and the Arab world. Guys like u would accompany the colonizers and help them wreck havoc & then justify it with christian demogoguery. Luckily I know many christians who aren't like you. they are what we Muslims call "saddiqeen" or true people. We Muslims DO know Jesus. But u don't know Muhammad & u don't know us. U are just a computer geek who sits on your pc & argues about that which u don't understand

  • Forgive me but Muslims DON'T know Jesus. The Jesus of the Qur'an is not God's son, so he, cannot be the Jesus of the Bible, the Christian Jesus, "our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ."

Why would I want to know Muhammad, the guy is dead, is he not?!

  • You may be forgiven(possibly) but God doesn't HAVE a son. That is a blasphemy created by users and exploiters to empower themselves over others (such as yourself) who follow their false teachings. "Muhammad the guy is dead, is he not"...he is not...but YOU are...mentally and spiritually

  • @sonwamac Umm, Muhhamad was born in 570 A.D. If you think he is still alive, then you've been smoking to much crack.

  • i do believe on the bible but not the bible u have today . and i agree with your answer but that does not answer my question, where r those original aramic scriptures ? quran is the only book ont he face of the earth that still exists in its original form . the bible we have today is man work and words not god's word, it mayu still have some in it but the real scholars of the bible and u r not one of them tells us that we do not have anything original today and the bible doesn't even exist toda

  • Comment removed

  • this is not the bible ,the bible wasn't writtin in english, jesus did not spoke english, this is a copy of a translation, where is the original bible? the answer is : it doesn't exist

  • the old testiment was written in hebrew originally and the new testiment was written in greek.although the new testiment was written in greek jesus spoke every word in aramic (the oldest form of hebrew)

  • I struggle w/500-600 verses-this guy is incredible

  • Sure, this is impressive, but why would you commit verses to memory of a book that can never be proven or dis-proven & is at best, a theory, not a fact?

  • It is sad to see whole generations being brainwashed with useless "bible facts" that are not facts but only based on faith!

Faith is NOT fact & fact is NOT faith.

All religions are based on faith, including believing in the invisible tooth fairy!

  • and what made you look at this video if you dont believe in it?dont you have better things to do with your life then watch something you dont even believe in?

  • Are you suggesting it is illegal to watch things you don't believe in?

You watch tv shows that are fake all the time, don't you?

  • yeah i do but i don't waste my time in trying to prove it doesn't exist lol

  • The reason I do this, is because TV shows are not terrorist acts.

    Islam kills people physically.

Christianity kills people dead with heart attacks because of fear of burning forever in hell.

The end result of both terrorist organizations is that people die, but have no proof that jesus/god/allah do or do not exist.

If it were peaceable, I could certainly understand, however...

  • yea.christianity cast fear of hell on a believe (at least the majority of them do) but dicipleship doesn't.i don't look at myself as a christian.i look at myself as a diciple because jesus said "teach the truth out of love not out of fear"

  • u people amaze me. i knew that one of u would say that memorizing is bad, or negative. the mans is hiding gods word in his heart leave him alone!

  • The problem with memorizing this brainwashing, is everyone has a different "correct" interpretation of the "holy" word & what is or isn't right & wrong.

Additionally, they all want to send you to hell for different things, which turns it into a doctrine of terror instead of love.

    Terrorism, anyone?

  • @ytuber28341

Please do not look to Steve Anderson as a representation of true Christianity. I am so sad to hear some of the things he preaches and that is not what Jesus teaches. It is God's desire that no man shall perish, but all would inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.

  • This is not true.

Everything God really wants to happen, does.

Nothing happens unless God wills, allows, wants it to. So anything that does, is ONLY because God wants it to.

People burn in hell, because that is truly what God does want.
