But most of the music is good, and i'd go as far to say that some of the themes have real merit to them. Some death metal themes like gore and blood can't hold a candle to the socially responsible black metal themes of corrupt religion.

I love how Sonata Arctica seems to be one of the only metal bands that are not total scene fags... What happened to the good old days, when bands were like Iron Maiden and Megadeath, where it was all for the metal, not like A7X who (while awesome) look like emo-fags.
