  • the 928 is saying to that little peon in front,,,,

you can run,,,, but you cant hide!!!!!

  • you can have the vette the ferrari's the lambo's all that stuff

when you come back to reality, there's only the 928 that satisfies.

  • you are one heck of a smooth driver,

    Id ride with you anytime.

Id have a blast going around Laguna Seca with you in the 928.

The 928, the interior, the seat's the look out the windshield is like no other,

    One Bitchen car!!!!!!

  • Oh dear god this is sexy!

  • LAGUNA SECA!!

  • I've had my 86.5 - 928S for 10 years this fall... and I NEVER tire of driving it!

  • @ColRangerFontana whats the best version 928 out there the s / re / GTS/ GT? 968 are better

  • @MrDemolitionman99 Hey, thx. for asking. You know... I honestly don't know enough about the 968 to say anything about them. I have an '928S' - which I'll have for the rest of my life. Of the 928's though... I'd love to have a GTS. The best of the best of the 928's (horsepower-wise).

  • Sweet, thanks for posting this.

  • what an awsome sound, music to my ears !

  • I forgot how much I liked the 928. Thanks to whomever posted this video.

  • Land shark's comin' for ya.

  • Car sounds like a monster coming up from behind. LOOK OUT!

  • OMFG

    listen to that sound

what has been done to this car?

  • isnt it Mark Kibort in a S4?

  • That particular 928 was a stock motor'ed 928S4 5 liter. the Vets were WCGT spec vet motors made by K-Tech. BIG power.

(and the vets were about 15 years newer!)

  • @zanick Yeah but i think this one was stroked to 6.0, either that or upgraded internals and a carbon fiber ITB intake. But still, they become great track cars with lightening and supercharger boost.

  • Beemer driver was getting lapped, so there was no hurry.

  • Great footage. That track wouldn't happen to be Laguna Seca would it?

  • Yeah definantly

  • Yep, Laguna Seca. Great track!

  • Perfect car !

    Great sound !

5 Stars all the way! :D

  • Wow, easy there killer. Chaga123, put your money where your mouth is. Race against my 951 on a track and I will show you they are no joke. I take ZO6's at Gingerman all the time. Ease up on the vulgarity. Thanks.

  • You tell him bud!

  • HAHA! 944's are not to be over looked. A 4 cylinder turbo can be equal or greater than a V8. I proved that many times! My 944 NA is even a blast to drive. I love them to death!

  • Great sound!

  • The sound of your car is AMAZING! And I love the part of the video when you get air time ;D

  • man I want to drive on Laguna Seca.

  • Thats a 928 S4

  • Smooth driving, sweet car,

really nice sound out of that 4,5 litre V8,

    nothing compares to it,

As It's said there is no substitute,

  • It was the stock 5 liter engine. actually the one that came in the car, never been apart in 15 years!

  • I too LOVE the sound of your car. The corvettes would wish it was that nice ;)

  • actually, its very easy to bore out the si/alum. block. it takes a special process to finish the process, but it is pretty straight forward. Then, you can used oversized pistons like, from a 951, but 8 of them :)

The common major upgrade is to use a stroker crank, larger than the GTS 5.4 and 951 968 pistons for a larger bore to create the 6.4 liter engine. (which this car in the video doesnt have. its bone stock)

  • I love the sound of your car!

  • Thanks! The best part of being out there at the track with this car, is the sound! (well, almost! :) )

  • Funny how he eats the M3 ;-)

  • Kibort has the best sounding car on the track. I've seen it live at Laguna and the sound of that Porsche V8 is absolutely visceral.

  • Isn't that Kibort's car? It's a 5.0L not the 5.4L GTS.

  • eh?? was the corvette faster?? OMG..

but hell! i love the sound of the car..also i like the white bmw m3(?)

    german cars rules =)

  • i love this track, gone over it a hundred times NOT in gt4 although that's a decently accurate model of it. thats the highest revving 928 i've ever heard, sounds like at least 8-9k, btw, NICE

  • This is Laguna Seca!!! Thanks Granturismo 4!!! ;)

  • Cool. I wasn't sure that was Laguna Seca but after the first two turns my GT4 experience paid off...someday I'd be so lucky to own a GTS.

  • Listen to that engine!!!! I think I would soil my pants if I heard that coming up from behind me. Wow.

  • Got to love a bone stock 928 S4 with only a set of headers!

  • The 928S4 comes with stainless steel tuned tubing exhaust with expansion joint so it will last forever. The aluminum cylinders don't wear, unless some extreme abuse is given.

  • Hell Yea. Sounds sick. You drive that 928 very hard and very well. I love to see this car still running in the field.

  • no joke.. it sounds serious.

  • Amazing v8.

  • Bugatti you say? fastest production car? yeah...at WHAT PRICE? ill take your Porche you keep the Veyron

  • V8 madness right there

  • Laguna seca raceway

  • If someone told me they heard a shark growl I'd say they are nuts, but after seeing and hearing this, all I can say is you have one mean shark there.

  • ahhh porsches supporior braking!

  • jesus! sounds like hes got the engine sittin in his lap lol

  • the beautiful sound of no mufflers!
