  • I lived on bruckner and roberts ave. We faced the park. Was back there a few years ago. Saw the garbage dump by pelham bay. What moron in NYC decided to put a garbage dump in such a beautiful park. Use to swim in eastchester bay and remember one of the meadows use to freeze over and we ice skated in the winter. Place has really changed.

  • I grew up in PB from 1944 to 1965-it was a great place to live. The park was actually quite wild in places and I remember pheasants roaming the park.
