I remember seeing this movie in 1974 in Brooklyn's Albee theater on Fulton Street. Looking at it now it seems to be Shaw Brothers' response to Golden Harvest who started to bite into their kung fu movie profits and market share with lower budget entries in the new American market. It was a very cool movie for its time and well titled taking advantage of the rage in western movies during this period.
