  • Sorry....no, I don't know. Because temperture changes things I would look for a poor or cracked solder joint first. Google that problem and you will find the answer.

  • TV SONY

  • I have the exact same TV, same model and everything. I bought it off ebay due to not being a fan of flat screens. It works great, but sometimes when it gets real warm in my room the tv will just go to static and emit a loud whiny noise out of the speaker...this is on the tuner side. When I switch to video I can still see a picture and hear sound, but the on screen display will show up randomly. When I turn it off and let it sit it'll work just fine again. Any ideas?

  • I lot of times you can fix them by re-soldering the grounds inside the tuner. The grounds are along the very edge of the board. used to manage a repair shop.

  • Sometime in the mid 1990's before i knew what a HT lead was i remember i just pulled the damn thing off and hearing a loud crack! I went f***ing blind for two minuits, had to sit down. When i gatherd myself all i could feel was real pain down my neck, left arm, hips, left leg and it felt like someone hit me on the toes with a mallet! My wrist and finger went stiff where my watch and ring was too. I'l never forget that day. What a rush!
