Yep. My husband makes it all the time it is seriously the BEST chocolate cake I've ever had. Not too sweet, not too rich, moist but has substance.

We don't do the caramel-choc bar sauce thingo, just the frosting.

And we discovered that if the cake is slightly underdone, when you pur the frosting on it sinks in more like a glaze and gives a lush sticky gooey edge all around the cake. I like this better than the frosting sitting on top.

But it's good either way!

Hey I just realised this clip is slightly different to how he explains it on the BBC recipes website. He says to pour the frosting on the cake while still in the tin and he then makes another sauce to serve it with using a caramel-choc bar (like a MARS bars or similar).
