@ccm2540 dude you cant do that in the boss battles deal, all potion effects vanish(though iv only tried the stamina and that failed so i doubt you can do it with the invincibility)

Somewhat, your collectables/treasures carry over, enemies deal double damage, hearts don't appear (unless you have a heart metal), skyward strike charges more quickly.

It took me enough tries just to get the dang thing on normal mode! but Hero Mode?! i dont think i'll ver do it. Especially not when the fragging Thunder Dragon chooses Ghirahim's ultimate form as my SECOND battle (which has completely killed me every time so far) but i was so dissapointed when i was forced to defeat Demise with just the Sacred Shield. It made the whole Zelda experience seem not as awesome.

This battle was actually pretty easy, I feared when I had to face him but it wasn't hard at all!

I was doing this in Hero Mode and got to Tentalus. I had no arrows and I'm like, "Oh, they'll give me some if I cut off his tentacles or something." I cut off his tentacles, he starts to try to hit me, I do a Skyward Strike at his tentacles and got nothing. I did this for 10 minutes.... Nothing. Eventually I just quit, considering I tried everything to hit his eye (Slingshot and even the Beetle).

This couldn't have been easier when it wasn't in hero mode. At that point I hadn't even fought the Imprisioned for the third time. In hero mode, however, it was just torture! Took forever to beat! Fortunately, when I had one heart left I got lucky and I only had to fight Ghirahim 2. BEST. SHIELD. EVER. It makes the last battle insultable.

The strat for The Imprisoned (3rd) is probably one of the best strats possible, I've only been able to optimize the speed down to sub 1:30, but it's pretty damn annoying, lol.

@XNick42 2 answers. Master sword in hero mode does that. after you talk a lot to her she starts falling in love at the end you get 5 gratitudde crystals. ;)

I finally managed to do this in hero mode. Finally! After countless tries and a lot of frustration. And then, when I finished it I had 12 hearts left at the end. I had to fight the same guys so many times that they started to get easy. Now when I do it in the normal file it'll probably seem pitifully easy in comparison. I'm so glad that in all my tries I never got the horde though. I was dreading that.

@jeffro5551 You beat the game, and after the credit, you will be offered to start a new adventure on this file. But brace yourself : Should you accept, enemies will now deal 2x more damage and there will ABSOLUTELY no heart or flowers to help you around, unless you find a heart medal (In lanayru's desert, by hitting a goddess cube). So the only way to heal yourself is by potions. Seriously, it's HARD. I've been game overed like 8 times and I didn't even finished the 3rd dungeon.

@Desilent49 Well, it's fairly easy to get yourself surrounded and making even a stupid mistake costs you 2 hearts. with the length of the horde plus the shear numbers this can happen a lot. In my last attempt to get the shield in hero mode I made it to fight # 8 with 15 hearts left...Then I got the horde and they managed to fully kill me. Maybe it's just me Idk :p

Yes. It is. Last one my bf played against, and it HAD to be the hoard. So he tried doing Demise first, or even the hoard so he would know he had remaining hearts left to go to the other bosses. No go. The hoard is impossible to get through, and Demise leaves you with maybe 3 hearts. Nothing to go on for the other bosses. =/

Nope, you can get the Hylian Shield on normal and hero mode. The main way of getting the sword is just beating 8 bosses in a row, and say no after the 8th boss in boss rush. Lanayru will then grant you the Hylian shield.

Haha. Oh I got that technique to work. It works on Imprisioned 2 and 3. I tried it on Imprisioned 1 but that didn't go so well. Ghirahim battle 2 there is a useful trick to beat him in 48 seconds in hero mode though its not something that can be explained well in text.

Good Job, I've been trying to get the Hylian Shield on Hero Mode almost all day. The game loves to troll you on the 7th 0r 8th battle. I either get the Horde Battle while I'm low on life or the boss with six arms. I would love to face the scorpion as my last battle such an easy win.
