I love what a genuis Kirkhope is. He made three different "icy" songs, but they all have a very distinctive feel. Freezeezy Peak feels more Christmas-y, like winter in a happy village, while Winter in Click Clock Woods feels much more like pure winter, like traveling through a frosty forest while everything's calm. And then there's Hailfire Peaks' icy side, which doesn't really recall winter at all, but the top of a high mountain, or maybe an icy tundra; more like a frigid wasteland.

lol, i remember climbing to the very top of the snowman...just so i could jump off and plummet hard to the ground. No, i'm not suicidal, just enjoyed one of the biggest drops in the game

@SirSteaven93 Nintendo didn't necessarily sell Rare, they just let them go because they wanted out, and then Microsoft bought all their market shares.

That being said, Rare's place was, and always should be with Nintendo, they made their best games when they were.

Ah, such a simple little game. Graphics were ok, gameplay was certainly not too bad, but my god was it fun! And the music, while not necessarily on par with games on today's systems.. definitely has that quality to it that brings back fond memories when you listen to them today. And this little gem is certainly no exception!

I need to find my N64... Or VC needs to release this game!

well, grank kirkhope, the composer of the banjo-kazooie music was a classically trained trumpet player. but this piece isnt scored for any trumpets. although it is scored for french horn, which is a brass instrument also.
