The guy was standing there already when the luggage was set down. When did he try to get in the limo? He stepped forward slightly at one point but the luggage would have been still between him and limo. He probably was trying to get a better look at Labelle and she didn't like it. When it all comes down to it, the guy couldn't of simple moved the luggage away or asked the gentlemen kindly to move away from it. But he shouldn't have to move, when he was standing there first. 1:37 - Looks pretty cut and dry to me. You can't put your hands on people just because they're being loud and standing too close to you or your property. The guard should've just kept himself positioned in front of the luggage, and not get physical unless King tried to get physical first. Some say only the bodyguards should've been sued, but an employer has some legal responsibility to make sure their security personnel are properly trained and not just hired for their muscles.

I think the Houston Police misdemeanor assualt charges brought against the two people in Labelle's party puts a nail in the coffin of another video exhonerating the bodyguards. If there had been another video, they would have seen it and let the original report stand. So the original account given to HPD must be considered false. That weakens, significantly, Labelle's suit.

The guy was standing there already when the luggage was set down. When did he try to get in the limo? He stepped forward slightly at one point but the luggage would have been still between him and limo. He probably was trying to get a better look at Labelle and she didn't like it. Hardly a reason to order an assault. Video isn't 100% clear but it doesn't seem to back up Labelle's story. I don't believe for a 2nd he made racial remarks, pretty low of Labelle ot lie about that.

Ok so this seems to be the complete video. We can see the Cadet coming from behind the bus. I don't see any punch to the limo driver, if that happened the body guards would be all over the Cadet even when he was off camera. He looks like he is engaged on his cell phone and that's it. I'm s-o-o-o glad that they beat the snot out of King at the airport!! You know why??? Because King just so happens to be a West Point student and there are PLENTY of cameras on hand at the airport!! Bodygaurds have techniques to make things happen in their favor. That's where the chestbump comes into play. They don't use their arms, they chestbump in hopes that the person will instinctively strike a defensive stance and perhaps advance an arm in their direction. Then comes the beat down. But... the video shows that he didn't. He was talking on his cell phone, navigating through the group of other travelers, scanning the area for his ride, and maintaining his composure, before the beat down. He didn't stumble until he'd been punched in the head a few times.

When it all comes down to it, the guy couldn't of simple moved the luggage away or asked the gentlemen kindly to move away from it. But he shouldn't have to move, when he was standing there first. They didn't have to take it that far, to point where they had put their hands on him. That was all unnecessary. He has every right to sue.

Even if there was cause for action against the guy with the yellow shirt, which it certainly appears there isn't, the entourage went way beyond restraining him and should be charged with assault. The cop (or security guard) should be dismissed from his job.
