Did any of you think that maybe the laptop was a gift or possibly refurbished, etc. My son finds GREAT deals online for electronics.

I am moving my money to a credit union anyway--there are plenty of other reasons to not like big banks--BOA, especially!

@gvi341984 The mac is better in the long run due to maintenance. I'm a PC user and I come across a lot of problems. I've had my mac laptop for 2 years and haven't come across not one.
