I 1st saw this years ago(probably about the time it was first posted) and I fell in love with it.(wish I knew what the song lyrics mean, if anything) I never would have thouht to combine this song with the fight scenes from Star Wars but it turned out to be an *awesome* vid. Thanks SO much for putting the time and effort into it and sharing. I've made vids of my own and I know good vids take work. If you have a chance, I'd love for you to check out my vids. Have not been able to make as many movies/AMVs/Videos as I would like to/used to be able to, and of late kinda feel embarrrassed that I am leeching off so much good will from just one short film for 3 years.

OMG! That was amazing! Beautiful and Amazing song! Great choice in the different clips! You mixed it all well and it matched perfectly with the music! 5 Stars and favorited! Awesom, Awesome, job!
Unfortunately, Mezame and Ensei are 2 different tracks. I might have misunderstood you, but if you imply that Ensei is Mezame without the back beat you are wrong. Otherwise, I am wrong.
Well, Ensei is the closest thing to being another version of Mezame. They have the same chorus. I know the difference, of course. Both are really good.
I just read your comment on this video, there is a version that is called himeboshi is slower, if you do not hear, you can put on youtube to listen "live himeboshi mezame"
He's right. The Old Republic was before the Galactic Empire. Unofficially, when someone says "the Old Republic" it's usually referring to the Republic seen in the "Knights of the Old Republic" games, 4000 years before the movies.
I thought this video was going to feature Revan, Malak, et. al.
I can tell you something about stars wars, but i dont see stars wars xD but man you vid is amazing the song and the fights are perfect, really man you use a good selection of movie for this movie :D (my english is not perfect >.> if i have a error tell me xD)
Amazing video and awesome song. I hear it in my head sometimes at school, lol. It would be so cool to have a lightsaber too. Mine would be green or maybe silver from KOTOR, I think. Ever think of what yours would be? (I know they don't exist, but I can dream, right?)
I remember posting this on a site I belong to and I thought I had lost contact with this vid, but I am so happy I found it again. I so love this song, it's so bitter sweet in so many ways.
What I loved about "Revenge of the Sith" is it is one of the few films when you get to see the villains AND the heroes cry, which really helped with the addagio section of this AMV before the thunderous final chorus.
true work of are i love it some one needs to make another one with different epic music this music mad epic but you gotta change it up also makes me want to train thanks for the great mv
who didn't like the prequels of star wars? i mean i know there r some of u out there who hates them 4 some reason, but we need themto complete the orginal triligy.
This song, however, is a combination of various European languages, prominently Latin, with a touch of Japanese thrown in, dubbed "Kajiuran" by her fans.
I have searched YouTube for all videosusing Mezame, and I feel that yours is by far the best one of them all. The rythem and feel of this song match the clips perfectly. Keep up the amazing work!
There are many videos of Chicken fights in Family Guy. Many. Most have original sounds or Mortal Kombat theme. I think another video of Chicken Fight is not needed. Maybe do something with LOTR or Matrix.
Though for me next project, I need some feedback/advice.
I like to do things in threes, and the followup to this "Mezame" music video, I'm thinking of doing a "silly-Mezame" to the Chicken-Fight Trilogy of "The Family Guy."
Would that be a cool idea? If not, feel free to tell me.
i actually would love that-it honeslty would be awesome but i think you need some song more fast pace and less dark. there isent the element of tragedy in the chiken fued that there is in the prequils of star wras-this song is dark and trageic
Great Video! The Best Star Wars Tribute I have seen yet. It makes me cry and smile at the same time. I don't know how to explain the feelings I get from watching this video. I guess they can only be felt not told.
Ronin, You wrote 9 months ago, and it bears repeating (I watch your video avery couple days - thanks): The song "Mezame" is intense, sad and dark, yet filled with nobility, hope and heroism, and hence for me was the perfect song to summarize the heroic tragedy of the prequel trilogy.
I agree with this guy, Throughly i watch this once a week at least and i always get a chill up my spine no matter how many times i've seen this before.
Gotta admit - this music is kick ass... I bought the soundtrack off ebay, and it is really AWESOME music - there is another song on it that would make a great video song - track 6 (sounds like "Tubular Bells".)
Also vader couldve been very agile in being mostly cyboretic ( ie most of his body was robotic now) and no other great swordsmen of the clone era survived ecept ObiWan and he was both old and didnt practice with his lightsaber for about a decade or two .
To correct what people have speculated on skills in the past and present. Call it Lucas' mistake in using modern choreography in a series that is a predecessor to an older movie, but as far as story goes, Vader was more powerful with the force than light saber combat. He didn't NEED to fight with his light saber skill in IV-VI, neither did Palpatine.
The elegant beauty of both the song and the video brings me to tears. Absolutely love this!!

Dear Sir/Madame/Miss.
Miss Kajiura Yuki has not made official lyrics of this song either it seems, as I had no luck finding it either.
The language used seemed to be a combination of various European languages, though Bible-Latin seems to play a most prominent role.
But I'll try to make a transcript anyways.
But tells you what, I will listen to the song and try to make a transcript of it.
