  • I really liked it just saw it.

  • good review, AMAZING FILM.

no hollywood special effects or explosions necessary.

  • This was the most beautiful story of statutory rape I've ever seen.

  • It was a great film. It's almost like 3 stories in one.

  • Oh, give me a break. The Nazis were so dumb as to hire a guard for the Auschwitz's camp who was illiterate. How was she to read orders or signs? Another distortion of the truth.

  • I agree with you. I like the film very much. I read the book after seeing the movie. I think it's the best novel adaptation ever.

  • I have been toying with the idea of reading the book for several months since I first saw it last November. I think that I will. The film is as beautiful, intelligent and adult as anything one could hope to see on the big screen. I can only imagine just how good the book is.

  • I'm disappointed that some film critics actually believed that "The Reader" was just using the awful events of WWII as a backdrop for its story. To me that insulted the filmmakers' intentions. Glad you liked this film as much as I did!

  • I agree .....Best film of the year....
