It's very easy to sit there with your "typical" children and criticize those who choose not to vaccinate their children. I used to think, how could a parent possibly not have their child vaccinated. Now that I have a 10 year old daughter with autism, who showed no signs of it until after her shots around 13 months, I wish I had a second chance to refuse them. And yet again, I have to point out that vaccines are NOT injected directly into the blood stream. There is a difference between intravenous and intramuscular. Vaccines that are injected are injected into a MUSCLE, not a VEIN.
Again, injection is not the only way chemicals are introduced into the blood stream. For instance, mercury has an almost 100% uptake from ingestion. Once something is in your bloodstream, your body handles it the same, no matter how it got there.

Vaccines have been in existence since the 1700s. In the US, and other developed countries, routine vaccinations of childhood vaccinations have been in place for decades. It's very easy to sit there with your "typical" children and criticize those who choose not to vaccinate their children. I used to think, how could a parent possibly not have their child vaccinated. Now that I have a 10 year old daughter with autism, who showed no signs of it until after her shots around 13 months, I wish I had a second chance to refuse them. I'm learning more and more everyday, that proves to me that you can't trust anything the government says.

And yet again, I have to point out that vaccines are NOT injected directly into the blood stream. There is a difference between intravenous and intramuscular. Vaccines that are injected are injected into a MUSCLE, not a VEIN.
Again, injection is not the only way chemicals are introduced into the blood stream. For instance, mercury has an almost 100% uptake from ingestion. Once something is in your bloodstream, your body handles it the same, no matter how it got there.

In Denmark, thimerosal was removed from vaccines in the early to mid-90s. They have a very tight health-care system with a national database so theres no question about the dose and the fact that the children received it. Analysis of their data showed no association between thimerosal and autism. In fact, they found a negative association. They actually found less autism in the children who were given the vaccines with thimerosal than without, says Mason.

Firstly, autism is a relatively newly defined disorder, and therefore the "incidence" has gone up because now doctors and parents are much more aware of the disorder and make the diagnosis. Secondly, autistic and retarded kids used to be hidden away and not "mainstreamed" the way today's kids are. Now it's much more common for affected kids to go to the movies, etc, and are more noticed. It didn't used to be that way. That's why Jones didn't notice them years ago.

The reason why the Amish don't have as much autism is because it's a genetic disease and they simply don't carry that particular genetic disorder. There are other ethnic groups that are affected at a much higher rate because they do carry that gene. It's not true, by the way, that three flu shots are associated with dementia. This person is totally misinformed. Vaccines have been shown unequivocally to be safe. Many people make the incorrect association between vaccines and autism because the primary sign of autism is a defect in language ability, which is first noticed by parents coincidentally at approximately the time when vaccines are given, between 12 and 18 months. That's when children would be expected to begin speaking, and that's when parents first notice the defect. Each event is unrelated to each other.

3.thimerosal was never used as a preservative in the Measles/Mumps/Rubella vaccine. All vaccines licensed since 1999, with the exception of a few multidose container vaccines (such as some, but not all, HIB and Influenza vaccines), have not contained thimerosal as a preservative

I told a woman not to have her kid vaccinated and she said that her was vaccinated because without vaccination, her boy was not allowed to go to a public school. even if they do increase the mercury 5 times, it's not enough to become lethal, my biochemistry teacher knows a lot about the vaccine and told me and two other students that are closer to him to not worry and that even he will take the vaccine when it appears. I'm not sure how toxic this thing is. I think the disease was man made only to sell the vaccine and make lots of money. Maybe those money go somewhere... Who knows...

Well, let's see. M,M,and R aren't usually even life threatening. It's about the same as chxpx. Polio is generally mild. Btw, FDR did not have polio, and it is now believed in the 50's polio was overdiagnosed. Tetanus? Try vit c shot. Even if some1 contracts tetanus it doesn't mean death or lockjaw. Diseases in general went down before vaxes were introduced. I'd particulary steer clear of toxoid vaxes (HCG intentional contamination). Wanna save people? Try clean environment.
