3:07 are you sure you have to cut it?What is the purpose to made a spoiler with a pin if you have to cut it when you install it? Nice video anyway. Just a question. How can you remove the plastic clip that attach the moquette cover to the lid?Simply pull it with the help of a flat screwdriver? (i found other clip in the trunk that you have to twist instead)

this guys a fucking idiot i have that same spoiler and the third (white)screw like thing he cut off is supposed to be there its just that this guys "template" didn't account for it. i feel sorry for the poor guy who has a now Fucked Up Spoiler Just because this idiot was too lazy to make the third hole in his "template."

PS: most spoilers come with templates now-a-days (Not metal ones just paper) so its pretty straight forward, hell i did mine :)

Actually for the Evo spoiler only one hole is shown to drill. The Evo spoiler requires 3 holes Tibbylancer.

if u open the trunk lid its already marked where u need to drill the hole, no need for template or mesuring anything

LOL, thats exactly what i was thinking too. I think this video was made at a dealer ship cause i saw an Evo in the back ground, so some one probably wanted to buy that lancer, but they wanted it to have a spoiler too. lol

No the template will not come with the spoiler. It was custom made for high volume installations. You can buy a rear spoiler from any Mitsubishi Dealer here in the States and it will come with instructions and a paper template.
