A self defense method against the Crocodile is similar to what one would do in the event of a shark attack. Remember this is only a last resort, once he has his jaws around you, it's over.

The Crocodile has a very sensitive snout, the main point being the nose, much like a shark.

A sharp blow to thew nose will stun the crocodile for a short time, blurring his vision long enough to distance yourself from the beast. Still, it is advised that you leave them be.

The title is wrong, the 27 footer they caught in the phillipines was not slayed even tho it killed people, the villagers ended up building a park around it...so now...the phillipines croc is the largest in captivity...5.48 = 17 something feet right?
