Fair enough, I think we'd agree about more than we might realize. I think he had great oration skills in time when the U.K. needed a leader but he really dropped the ball when it came to anything related to the war.
My problem with the way that this video is portraying this circumstance is sort of a knee-jerk reaction to fox. They don't elaborate on how gassing civilians, even if it does not kill them, is not a war crime.

He had great perception & was willing to go out on a limb to keep a political alliance intact. However even as the ex sea lord, he showed limited foresight when he didn't make the RAF give up long range bomber for anti U Boat patrols, the Gap, at a time when the bombers weren't doing much but the Germans were sinking 20% of the ships heading to England.
