God I'm so happy my mum introuduced me to them can not stop watching their clips many of my teachers don't even know who they are :( there surprised a 15 year old does lol
hey @brookester1997 - glad to hear a 15 year old likes them...you and your mum has good taste! I always used to titter at them when I was a kid and their sketches were always original stuff too, they left us with many lasting GOOD memories :) Thanks for stopping by & hoped my video will always bring YOU sunshine in you long life ahead of you. Rob
My 15 year old son, a product of the modern age with his Xbox & iPod etc, watched some Eric & Ernie clips with me and laughed his head off. That, I feel, says a very great deal about these two wonderful, wonderful men - and no song could sum them up better than this one :-)
TV today has lost it's past the PC brigade has killed it off they just put on rubbish stuff and just brain wash you with today stuff thank god SKY came along & put more channels to see but they are going the same way ????
My all time favourite comedy duo. Brings back so many happy memories of Saturday nights in my pj's. They were such innocent days and comedy at its best! I'm gonna be smiling all day now.
we were banned from seeing any uk tv so i have an American comedy reference for My childhood so i will always be playing catchup with you folks.cheers
Classy professionals. They may not be everyone's cup of tea but their humour was harmless, and FUNNY and silly. Physical comedians who were the butt of the joke- remind me of being a kid :-) RIP Eric and Ernie
Christmas was great with Eric and Ern and the 2 Ronnies, I'd be happy enough if they'd just keep repeating that stuff every year but they seem to be moving away from that unfortunately.
Morecambe and Wise, The Two Ronnies, Rising Damp, On the Buses, Porridge etc were great I can watch these over & over again. Modern days shows are a load of rubbish I keep reading that The X FACTOR get's 15 million viewiers & Simon Cowell gets paid so much money for having no talent, yet Eric and Ernie pulled in 30 million viewers when the population in the UK was far smaller than today. Need I say anymore.
Morecambe and Wise were the real Kings of Television.
@leejohn70 Too True... Also it was in the days of only 3 channels mostly... I doubt many events these days could be ever be matched... would like to think of what they would be doing today if they were around...
Morecambe and Wise, The Two Ronnies and Monty Python are the best British comedy TV programs of all time. All modern comedy is rubbish compared to classic comedy.
yes, I agree there are'nt many 'really' funny comedians today, Comedians like the Two Ronnies, M&Wise, Tommy Cooper, Frankie Howard etc..got laughs using a good script and without being offensive etc.. Perhaps today's comedians ought to take a leaf out of their books!
I believe there hero,s were Abbott and castello,i love them both,it always felt like family and i guess i miss the christmas specials most of all, thanks for posting
many thanks for the comment, it's a shame some of todays commedians don't compare to our two heroes instead of all the swearing, I'm no prude but I don't remember Eric & Ernie ever being smutty? ...just funny to watch!
I agree,i do so miss these guys, christmas was a very special time with these guys, there will never be another couple like them, god rest them and thanks for all the laughs along the way.

@SherwoodofRobin Completely agree with you. Insults and vulgar language just aren't funny! Fortunately we have memories of legends such as M&W..
