Example 1: THE PATRIOT ACT! This was rammed through Congress right after 9-11, very few opposed it, most of them didn't even f*cking READ it (Dennis Kucinich being an exception), the government said "trust us", we bought into their BS and now we're stuck in 2 wars without end, our constitutional rights are being taken away and most people don't even realize it, or could care less. Conclusion: the American public, for their ignorance, deserve to inherit this mess that Bush and Co. have made!

Russ Feingold is another exception. He was the only Senator to vote against the PATRIOT ACT when it was first proposed.
