i love this album...trent got it and is why he signed kevin to nothing records and produced it. people suck...this is in the bargain section at the record store i work at...nobody ever buys it. lots of people give industrial music a lot of shit. they need to recognize & appreciate how overlooked this is. they should have a website or magazine dedicated to overlooked albums from the past.
My dad died when I was 16 and this album got me through it, along with skinny puppy and nin.. Thank you! I listened to this whole album every night driving in the darkness.
WOW I HAD THIS CD MAN REMEMBERING THIS TRACK I WAS AMAZE TOWARDS THE ENDING WHEN YOU HERE THAT DRUM LINE AT THE END PURE GENIUS HATS OFF TO KEVIN.......!
Ive been looking for a copy of this album forever. I lost a whole book of Cd's back in the day and alas this one was in there. Finally found a copy on Amazon thats not ridiculously priced. Bought it instantly.
Can anyone recomend another band similar to this for me to check out. I've been outta the loop for so long i can't remember any of them..THANK U THANK U
Yes! Please post the whole album, if possible. I have not been able to find a copy of this album anywhere. I bought this album when it was first released but it is virtually impossible to find it anywhere these days. Thanks for the uploads you have already posted, but please post the rest of the album. There are some incredible tracks missing - Naturally, since there is not a bad track on this one of a kind, ground breaking album.
I saw these guys in concert forever ago. I had never heard of them prior to the concert and they just blew me away. I was in awe and bought this album the next day.
To me it's really a McMahon/Reznor album, as the awesome production is owed mostly to Reznor himself. Still it's really great, and the songwriting is some of the best I've heard in industrial music.
Reznor has produced only 4 of the 10 tracks, and even if these are part of the best tracks, others only made by McMahon are amazing (I Apoloise, Makebelieve). Still, McMahon has been obviously influenced by Reznor on this album.
Yeah that's true; there definitely is a bit of a fusion between Reznor and McMahon. I can't say I know too much about McMahon's work outside of Prick, so I'm not entirely sure of his own 'sound', but even if he were inspired by NIN, he's still brilliant in any respect.
If you own the album, please put "I Apologize" on YouTube. That song is very sentimental to me. I apologize, for being cruel, when i could've been kind. I love thaat song. Please!
Didn't Trent Rezner Produce this album? (if memory serves me correct)
