  • That mysterious creepy girl with the sunglasses........fail.

  • This song is pure perfection.

  • The most touching part of the video occurs at 3:20 seconds when the station logo pops up. BET actually used to have something that was not watered down talent on the television, Once upon a time. Thumbs for this jam

  • love this song!

  • RIP LADY T!!!

  • Rest In Peace, Lady Tee! ~ Phurdrick

  • Timeless....like Diamonds.....She just had a soulful voice that was just amazing. I miss my hot water cornbread soul sistah.

  • Dam. What a voice!!!!!!!!!!

  • I actually got to see her sing live once and thats how u know when someone has true talent when they sound just like their records when singing live. she real deal

  • SANG!

  • Black folks loved Teena back in the day like Black folks loved the Average White Band. Everyone I knew respected the Average White Band...

  • @shinediaz26 That is sooooo totally wrong! Teena Marie wasn't accepted like she should have been by the WHITE community....I've never met ONE Black person back in the day who did NOT LOVE Teena Marie. You've got your info mixed up. In the 70's, I had all of Teena Marie Albums and so did every other sista I knew..

  • I aint looking to compege with you… all I want to do is jump your bones!

  • Music has lost a magnificent talent. Thankfully, we still have these recordings to remind us of her ability.

  • Comment removed

  • I'm glad she was able to get her recognition and validation by the black community before she died.....Teena Marie had faced much rejection because she was initially not accepted by blacks. She proved herself and was very well loved by all for the full duration of her career.People genuinely loved her and were dedicated to her. The love was much felt...usually you are a nobody and become a somebody when your dead.

  • She Will Be Truly Missed.......

  • she's one of the greatest singer/keyboard players around ..and why i got into music in the first place ... she's singing with ELVIS now

  • One of the best musicians there was! RI P lady T. Love you, glad I got a chance to see you in person!

  • effortless,miss u teena!! RIP love

  • Author G D Grace loves Tee... and always will.....

  • I absolutely love this performance. No bells and whistles. Just Teena and the piano. I do have to say the female Vj is so stoned, she should not have been there. Shes worthless to this segment and should have been off stage.

  • Miiss U Lady T!!

  • MISS HER BADLY & I ALWAYS CRY WHEN I HEAR HER. LOL!

  • My fave teena marie live performance xxx

  • TINA MARIE IS ONE OF THE REASONS I SING! SHE WILL BE TRULY MISSED BY THE WHOLE WORLD! I HOPE SHE FELT THAT WE APPRECIATED HER AND HER MUSIC! THANKS FOR POSTING! LOL

RIP...Sweet Lady T...thanks for all you gave us!!!

  • Im In Love With Her Voice! <3

  • who is that in the shades?

  • @aharper12 Bernadette Cooper from the R&B Group "Klymaxx"

  • dripping with quality ..we are gonna miss you and your talents loads ...

  • I miss her too. All comments that are dis-respectful..tells me -they do not appreciate true talent and there are issues in their own lives.

  • I can't believe the disrespect on here! Teena has not even been gone but a minute and people are making foul statements about the woman! Teena was a beautiful woman and a true artist, let the woman rest in peace with the dignity she deserves!

  • I guess you can't read, we know you can't write using educated English! You are low class with that cave man English you are using. And you should not talk about judging anyone after that comment you made on here As for my last job-----I don't have a job I have a career and I'll my two college degrees up againt your fake GED ANYDAY.You just got mad because what I said was true. You said hooker? Bitch I am not a female but maybe you are, tell your husband to buy you a new outfit!

  • Miss you Lady T! Your music has always been and shall remain a mainstay in my life... there are so many memories...all because of your talents! Thank you.

  • Dayuum Its no wonda Rick James was fucking this woman....not only can she sang...she down right breutiful....fuh real !

  • @DullardGuy Only someone low class would make an ignorant comment like that.

  • @comalaism Ignorant comment like what? What u thank, im lying bout dat. And dont be callin no one low class. Your last job was being a craigslst hooker, so dont judge people.

  • Lady T will be Missed

  • I love her voice, truly the voice of an Angel!!!!!! r.i.p. Teena missing you like crazy.

  • Unbelievably, gifted, creative, spirited, talented, awe inspiring musician/singer/artist woman.

  • Lady T, man. No one is better. No one has that talent.

  • Show me 1 singer thats out rite now that can even come close to sounding this good even with all the studio enhancements they have today...Miss you Teena...R.I.P.

  • Classic TEENA!! Will never forget seeing her and Rick James together on stage....May they RIP...

  • Love this song, i can turn it around a little and it apply it to my last relationship......love it......

  • This was so personal. Of course she was talking about Rick James. I respect her honesty because she loved unconditionally. Just because you have to let someone go, does not mean you do not love them deeply. Thank you Teena for sharing your beautiful voice and talent.

  • I saw her and Rick do this in Detroit before he died. She said ":I wrote it for you so I might as well sing it to you, he laid his head in her lap, and the crowd went wild"!! Best concert I ever went to!

  • Sexy time! ram it in there lol!

  • IT HURT ME BUT I HAD TO LET YOU GO!!!!!!!!!!!!! BABY PLEASE! TALK THE TRUTH!

  • you think any artist today could do this i mean really maybe 1 or 2 and thats with some else playing the instrument!!!!!

  • she was so beautiful and her voice wooo what can you say. i have yet to hear anyone sound like teena marie. and her hair too she wa the epitome of class and funk too. she seemed to really feel what she was saying

  • rose labeau is back on twitter!

  • Teena sang a step below or above the note much like her influences, Billie Holiday and Sarah Vaughan. So what the person is hearing is not her being off pitch but manipulating her voice and the music.

  • Incredible! PhenominalTalent. I remember this on video soul. The good old days. Why did Donny Simpson Go away? People Like Lady Tee got the recognized instead of this none singing talent thats on 106 and park.

  • What a distinctive sound! Ms. Marie was in perfect voice. I'm saddened by her family's loss and our loss as well.

  • Love & Philly miss u Lady "T"......One-Love'

  • YOU ARE MY FAVORITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU!

  • my girl rip teena

  • R.I.P. Tee

  • Love you Tee, and always will....

  • Beautiful Spirit, Beautiful Talent... R.I.P LADY T...One of the BEST EVER... Full Stop.... Forget the chit chat.. about colour.... Teena GOT SOUL.......

  • R.I.H Lady T also to my mother Mz. T as well age 54. She loVved ur music.

  • Jesus Christ I never knew she could play a piano , I knew she could play a guitar extremely well. This is an original artist, music need to get to this when you can feel the passion in the song. Teena is blowing me away with her awesome vocals and instrument playing. We really lost a phenomenal artist people and she really deserved a lot more praise . I'm wondering why didn't she get more recognition, becasue she was destined to be a legend. Her daughter is very beautiful, Rip Lady T.

  • this is breathtaking - i'm sure if you're watching this you've seen "if i were a bell" - just in cast not - watch it

  • This is my absolute favorite Teena Marie song! Love it! Thank you for posting!

  • Tina is incomparable, no one is singing like her. This is one of most beautiful songs. We miss you Tina!

  • This was a bad lady! Nobody did it like she did, She will be missed.

  • Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for sharing this amazing video of Teena with us. LOVE THIS WOMAN! RIP Teena, you are SO MISSED!

  • Good bye Lady T . You will be missed. R.I.P. !!!

  • 2 people dislike this ? Damn , they have to be deaf to not hear the magic that is LADY T ! She was and is , one of the greatest singer / songwriter / producer / musicians of all time. Not only that , thanks to her , their is a LAW called Tina's Law.

    Google it

  • Our Lady Tee was a consumate artist and why she never won a Grammy Award I'll never understand it. This is supposed to be the uppercrust of all the musical shows. They've been minding their p'sand q's since the Milli Vanilli fiasco. It's basically about your musical pedigree and Lady Tee had the entire package. This woman's lyrics, voice, and musicianship could literally blow you away. It will be 2 months on the 26th since she's gone home to HEAVEN and I'm still listening to OUR SAPPHIRE.

  • I see a young woman walking through Rockefeller Plaza during the winter. Large snowflakes falling as she sings this sing.

  • This song my favorite.

  • i think god gives us angels like teena every now and then to remind us that there is still good left.. some of us recognise it and some dont... Now god needs her back... WELL IF YOU WERE GOD WOULDNT YOU ??? R.I.P TEENA MARIE GOD BLESS YOU XX

  • @gollycom That was beautiful.....

  • AWESOME!!! My favorite song of hers and I never knew she sang it live for Donnie!!! Dang!!! Tina...I grew up listening to you...you will be missed...you are missed. Rest in Peace!!!!

  • Nice never got to hear this live back when they use to show real artists on TV.

  • I remember seeing her at the Dell and she was sooo wonderful. May her beautiful soul rest in peace.

  • We definitely lost a diva that I dont know if we can replace. Hopefully her daughter Alia will be as successful as she was. Thank God for the beautiful music Teen!!

  • She was a Great signer, songwriter and musician. Nothing Compares to Teena in her style...RIP my great Diva, I Miss you, your voice and your music...

  • I couldnt bring myself to play of her music after hearing the news and couldnt figure it out. I was scared like I lost something..I finally played Dejavu and balled my eyes out upon the first note..it was speaking to me and i was a teenager all over again. I sang that song every chance i got back then and it was my strength

  • timeless ,meaningful and angelic.......Teena's music got me thru some of the ruffist times growing up and I had no clear idea of how serious of an impact she had on my life until she was gone.

  • Today everyone oo's and ahs over Lady Gaga's simplistic piano playing. I like Gaga but she's not a tenth the pianist or musician Teena Marie was. Lenny Kravitz is so right when he called her "underrated by far".

If you haven't heard Kravitz's tribute to her he recorded on his iPhone when he learned she had died, check it out. It will touch your heart.

YT won't let me post the link but just search for "kravitz teena" and you'll find it.

  • TEENA MARIE IS ONE OF THE ARTISTS THAT SOUNDS THE SAME NO MATTER WHAT LIVE OR ALBUM,......I LOVE U TEENA,.....THERE WILL NEVER EVER EVER BE ANOTHER YOU,......GOD BLESSED US WITH YOUR BEAUTIFUL VOICE AND BEAUTIFUL SPIRIT,........SO SAD TO SEE YOU GO TOO SOON

  • she is and will ALWAYS be my favorite singer...I listened to her when I was a little girl...and she is the reason I wanted to be a singer...

  • God's choir has gained another all world talent....RIP Lady T......I'll love you forever...

  • Sung with everlasting love

  • This is her encore song at the Dell East in Philadelphia. Sold out and the city in that area is shut down for a real show with the Blue Eyed Queen of soul. Damn I miss her. Love seeing her there and always looking forward to her concert. Lady T is a true entertainer. She can keep U awake even if she did all ballads or she can keep the energy Up with uptempo tunes. Grammy's don't measure success. She's real. Straight underground fans that will keep feeding her family thru eternity. RIP Lady T

  • What a remarkable voice, that type of talent doesn't come by that often. soulful and touching every part of you. She's a delightful memory for now and time to come. B.E.

  • No words are good enough to describe her talent. I'm in awe everytime I watch this video. What happened with the artist today. I hate to even turn on the radio. Thank goodness for my old cds of 20 years ago when music was real and would touch you emotionally.

  • Teena Marie is just a musical phenomenon period!! one of the most awesome and original singer/musician hands down!!!there is nobody like her or can be compared to her!!

  • Teena Marie's voice, style, range, etc. is what set her apart from all others. She wrote, composed, produced, played several instruments....Woww! She is truly a Musical Legend, a GEM who is IRREPLACABLE and will be greatly missed. I wore the wax off my albums back in the day.....LOL! The music industry missed their change to acknowledge this bundle of RAW TALENT.......R.I.P. "Lady T" never to be forgotten.

  • Teena awesome doing her "Cassanova Brown" classic at piano and expressions of joy on faces of two audience tell the story of the unbelievable greatness here...stunning in every way, legendary icon is in a class all by herself and will be missed...RIP Lady T, you are the ultimate!!!

  • Today, with the exception of India.Arie, Alicia Keys and Laura Izibor (am I forgetting anyone else?), you hardly see a woman in the upper echelons of pop, R&B and rock playing an instrument. Too many of them would rather use their bodies to seduce. There was nothing more seductive than to watch a woman sing and play. Unfortunately, unlike in the 1980s and 1990s, today they are being brutally overshadowed by the sex vixens.

  • @CookyMonzta I'm surprised you forgot Lady Gaga, who is at the top of everything pop right now and does those things. I can think of other less popular female artists, but why bother? I just thought I'd point out the most obvious one.

  • @strtthshw Hardly have I seen Gaga play an instrument on stage, on any show. That is why I did not mention her. There are undoubtedly many who do play instruments, but at the upper echelons of pop, R&B and rock, you almost never see them play on stage. I should make an exception for Madonna, who has played guitar for over a decade, at the very least.

In jazz, you'll find many women playing instruments live. Patrice Rushen started out playing jazz.

  • @CookyMonzta "Hardly have I seen Gaga play an instrument on stage, on any show." o____o She plays piano in performances all the time. The only times she doesn't play is when she's dancing around albeit like a weirdo, but still). "There are undoubtedly many who do play instruments, but at the upper echelons of pop, R&B and rock, you almost never see them play on stage." Cosigned.

  • @strtthshw I've never seen a performance on TV where Gaga played piano; so, I wouldn't have known that.

  • @CookyMonzta Really? Weird. Well, you'll find them all over the internet. Or if you watch award shows like the grammys.

  • @strtthshw My bad. I'm not a Gaga fan. :-/ And the Grammy Awards, I haven't watched in quite some time. :-P

  • @CookyMonzta After Taylor Swift won a grammy, I really don't blame you for not watching them >.<

  • I never saw this performance before last year, but I must say it is a beautiful thing to see 2 women who play instruments supporting each other. In the 1980s and early-1990s, in the world of R&B, it was always Teena, the women of Klymaxx and Patrice Rushen playing instruments. That's it. If you add pop, you'd include the Bangles and the Go-Go's. Rock, you'd add Lita Ford and Vixen to this list...[Cont'd]

  • i keep looking at your video's LADY T cause i still can't belive your gone, R.I.P. i know that as long as we have your music & video's u will always be here. i just feel like i have lost a member in my family, cause of the love & respect i had and will always have for you. ur god's angel now,and will always be our angel too, may your light shine bright in heaven as it will alway here on earth. 1-18-11

  • Get it Tina.. R.I.P.

  • Get it Tina.. R.I.P.

  • why was she still working after just suffering two seizures? was teena broke?

  • yesss,, Thats Bernadette Cooper from Klymaxx standing in the backround..I remember this episode of video soul..BC and TM were close at the time and did the interview together..Bernadette protected Teena when Donnie Simson started asking TM personal questions about TM about her relationship with Rick James..it was a sensative subject at the time.

  • @TheGeminiLounge I remeber watching it also. I remember Donnie dabbling. Lol. But what I remember most was how she used those AMAZING PIPES to soar across the room and tear it up!. Damn. Everytime I let a woman get to me, for some reason I would put on Teena and have a Marcus Grant episode from the movie "Boomerang". Where he sat in the living room thinking with smooth music and multiple monitors showing clouds going by in the background. Wow. I miss you Teena and I love you. MY "Lover Girl".

  • I still miss her so much. I am still mourning over her loss. Now this is talent, as about as fine as it comes. I miss you Teena.

  • People that put comments on youtube should do the research before they open there mouth. Teena Maria was not actin BLACK she was Black. Teena Maria mother was BLACK and she was a singer as well her name was Linda. Get you fact straight before you comment !!!!!!!!

  • @CHERRON68 While I appreciate what I think you are trying to say...Tina Marie's talent made her an example of diversity and harmony...why is race such an issue? She did not have black parents, etc...BUT she did have a black mentor & godmother in Bertha Jackson. Teena is/was Portuguese, Italian, Irish and American Indian. The surname Brocket (her maiden name) is of Welsh.Irish origin...dating back to the Middle Ages.

  • @CHERRON68 and the same with yours. teena marie's mother was not black.

  • @knobylob, I though she had a godmother who was African American, and her name was Berthalynn Jackson.

  • @StarBrown08 godmother is not a blood relation

  • Whew Teena! We won't forget you lady!!

  • I WAS SO SICK OF TEENA MARIE ACTIN SO BLACK!!!!! SHE NEEDED TO DO SOME COUNTRY OR ROCK THAT WHITE PEOPLE DO!!!!!!!

  • @vh1newyork you are a racist shit head! she had more soul in her little finger than you will ever have in your stinkin ass body now run and tell that poop butte! bitch!

  • @laketahoeron CORRECTION TRICK, YOU ARE AN IDIOT JUST LIKE YOUR WHORE OF A MOTHER. AND YES TEENA WILL HAVE A LOT MORE WHITE SOULD THEN I WILL EVER HAVE B/C IM BLACK. NOW SHUT UP YOU PATHETIC PIECE OF CRAP. STUPID TRICK!!!!!!

  • @vh1newyork suck big fat dick puck bithch! your mama!

  • @laketahoeron kiss my ass BITCH!!!!! EAT SHIT!!!!

  • @vh1newyork that was an inane comment.

  • @norma90807 that was a senseless comment.

  • 3 weeks ago dis song so sopke 2 me but now all i wanna listen 2 is undo it by carrie underwood

  • @disisnotreal people like you are why there is a race problem in this country! she had more soul in her little finger than your whole stinkin ass body! NOW shit head!

  • @laketahoeron TF ? when i wrote this i was just speaking my opinion, If uu dont like it then leave me the people in "my country" fine . uu no nothing about me or anything about my nationality so in a sense you know NOTHINGG of how much soul i have . so i advise uu take your irrelevant ass off some where, commenting on random comments that have nothing to so w/ uu or the song really ....... -__- bitch please

  • @disisnotreal your gay, your opinion means doodoo!!! in the gay world its fine for you and bubba!! lmfao

  • R.I.P Teena

  • really missing lady tee this is my favorite song among a long list in her body of work.

damn she is gone hurts like hell 1 of my songstress idols. sunny skies MS. TEENA MARIE.LOVE ALWAYS CHOCOLATEVIOLET.

  • dam i love that woman!! she's obviously in a class of her own! such an original phenomenon!!!

  • awesome

  • @khalilbr You got that right! Everyone is so concerned that she was white & sounded bloack when she sang...so stupid! It is more important to embrace the universality of music that allows us to cross the cultural boundaries the human race seems to continually set up for themselves.....

  • Classic

  • Comment removed

  • People with negative comments must be haters or just soulless to not appreciate her...she can do what not many people can do...she can connect and reel you in with her voice...and she's a real musician with crazy vocal ability...my idol

  • Check out Donnie...he's seen them ALL...and he KNOWS he's witnessing GREATNESS in this clip!

  • Thank you SO MUCH for posting this! This is PRICELESS!!!

  • LMFAO.. People leaving comments saying her tone was off blan blan. ARE YOU HIGH? I would love to see/hear you sing to just a piano.. Teena's voice is amazing.. And not to mention gee let's see Lady T can hit C6 notes like it's nothing. So please not just because we lost Teena. I would say this no matter what. She was an amazing singer/songwriter PERIOD.. Don't hate appreciate. Don't have nothing nice to say. Then don't say it... I wish the singers today had Teena Marie's talent. Thanks Teena!RIP

  • @Teenasboy50 I feel u main Man just to c a women PERioD play the pianois enough for me im only 28 and i can remimber her from a kid now a days the same shit bacvk then real ass ralent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gad damn it brang it back cridicks ect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Teenasboy50

Lady T was a gifted, talented classy woman. She will always be a Diamond amongst Gems, a treasure to be discovered and celebrated. I will always love her and the memories she left me in her songs. Those of you who don't know, now you know..

  • @MrNativecolor - I don't think they heard'ya!! Let me reiterate......"IF YOU DON'T KNOW, NOW YOU KNOW!"

  • @Teenasboy50 Yes they are because artist nowadays aint singing worth shit!

  • @Teenasboy50

You are so right they must be high. I was blessed to see her live. My uncle took me for my birthday and I will always remember that. She was amazing and she will be truly missed.

  • Rest in Peace, Lady T; (March 5, 1956 - December 26, 2010).

  • A glimpse of a great ..Thanks for your understated contribution Teena marie . Rest in peace

  • R.I.P. Teena Marie.. I was 6 years old when she performed lovergirl with those fringed pants and guitar.I never forgot that performance.Thank you to whoever posted it. She inspired me for the rest of my life. She was a great performer and a talented songwriter. You will be missed. One Luv 4EVER

  • Beautiful and talented. She will be sorely missed. R.I.P Lady T

  • BERNADETTE LOOK LIKE SHE WANTS TO WHIP TEENA'S AZZ!! DAMN HA!! HA!!

    RIP LADY T <3

    DC LOVES YOU!!!!

  • Her voice ressembles a lot to Lisa Lavie's!!!.She was great, yes she was!!!.But Christina Aguilera is THE VOICE and i'm sorry but Teena was too far from Christina's feet.

  • @nickyaguilera you are entitled too your opinion, but if there wasn't a Teena Marie there wouldn't be a Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Lisa Stansfield, etc. She capitalized the Blue Eye Soul thing.

  • @pachwi25 Ugh, I always hated that "Blue Eye Soul" crap. I mean, if the only difference between that and soul is the color of the person who sings it, then it shouldn't even be a diffrent category. I know you didn't coin the term but it just bothers me, lol.

  • @strtthshw Teena was no "blue-eyed soul" artist. Hell, she didn't even have blue eyes! She was a fan of Motown, Stax, Volt, etc., even before she was 10. She wanted to do R&B right from the start! To paint her with the same broad brush as many of the other white artists who were, for lack of a better phrase, "just dropping in", is an insult. She was as far from blue-eyed soul as hard rock is from house music.

  • @CookyMonzta Um.....okay....and the relevance your comment has to what I said would be....???????? I never said Teena Marie was blue-eyed soul. I said I hate the term "blue-eyed soul." Still do. I think it's stupid and shouldn't even be considered a different genre. Btw, you don't have to have blue eyes to sing blue-eyed soul.

  • @strtthshw It wasn't completely lost on me that you hate the term 'blue-eyed soul'. Since it was brought up, I used it with regard to those on this board who STILL use the term.

  • @pachwi25 Read my comment below on the whole "blue-eyed soul" thing.

  • What exactly is Christina THE VOICE of? Her generation maybe but that's it. She can sing her azz off but Aretha, Whitney, Barbra, etc. are all better singers than Christina, so no she isn't the voice and she lacks control of her voice. She hollers and screams too much. Anyway, Teena Marie had a fantastic and unique voice and it was always wonderful well into her 50's, which is rare for many. Teena wasn't only a great voice, but a great songwriter and instrumentalist as well. ...Continued

  • Christina could never WRITE or create a song this beautiful or complex. You need to hear the full length studio version to know what i'm talking about. Even Christina could not pull this off the way Teena did. Teena is a much more well rounded artist. She writes, produces, plays instruments, etc. She's great. I love her music and lyrics. Her songwriting is like poetry. Teena's voice and music touches me more than Christina's ever had. Xtina is a singer. Teena is an artist. Big difference.

  • @Keezie27 - DITTO!! The FULL LENGTH version is off the radar and her SWAGGA was just as RAW as her NATURAL TALENTS. let's leave the HATAZ where they're at, cause her real fans know what's up....YaDigg! :)

  • I feel in love with this woman in 1988 at the forum in ingelwood ca. i miss her much, I thank god I had a chance to meet and talk to her for a bit in aug 2007. She was soooo sweet. I would have left my wife that day

  • wow. I guess she influenced even Laura Nyro. Beautiful song.

  • Lady Tee your music is eternal...I will miss you.

  • omg a time when BET didn't suck!

  • Lady T say no more the woman was a soulful spirit and will be missed greatly.

  • thanks so much for this..I didnt know she had so many earlier tracks here! xx

  • Wow is all I can say. She was so amazing. It's such a shame many of today's so-called singers are allowed to exist and profit. They rely on tricks like auto-tune. Auto-tune should be outlawed for anyone who bills himself as a professional singer.

  • i have read throught the comments, what everyone need to know that lady t shoed us that soul come's from within not from just the color you r, and she bless us with her talent and for all that she will and has always had my respect, R.I.P. lady t. i have always loved your music since day one, you are truly gods angel now. you are 4-ever loved and never be 4-gotten. no one could never take your place. 1-1-11

  • Been reading through the comments- a few concrete factual answers- this is from BET's "Video Soul" show in 1990. Teena was promoting her "Ivory" release, yes, the other person in the dark glasses is Bernadette Cooper, she was promoting her Solo LP. The song ends early because the show ended at that point. Teena already performed "If I Were A Bell" and they ran out of time to air another full performance.

  • @doubleolove Thanks for posting the actual facts about this video. Bernadette is/was a member of the all-female band Klymaxx. Teena Marie's voice was phenomenal! She will definitely be missed. I bought 2 of her CDs the other day to make sure that I have them in my collection.

  • teena had it going on

  • This is the song!

  • Keep it Real.... How many singers can give your soul chills... Because she was god sent...

  • WOW.....TEENA

  • Talent is talent. Teena Marie was an original and I'm glad I got to experience and enjoy her music.
