I think their friendship is very special because they understand each other perfectly. Both of them went through the same misery...they've lost the love of their lives...Katherine & Isobel.

This friendship is, honestly, my no.1 friendship from tvd, I love them more than I love Stefan/Damon. and you made such an AMAZING video, with good editing and colouring and song, that just...SIIIIGH. faved it from the 1st second. I so love these 2, Ric is my favorite human in the show, even over Elena. This video is now going into my favorites. Damon to Ric, I'm not going anywhere with you, you tried to kill me. Ric to Damon, You did kill me. Ric saved Damon's life and is always there for him, he just drops what ever and goes, but he does know not to mess with Damon when he is upset, loved the way he backed off with hands out when trying to get him out of the room. Damn I love this video.
