@JJack887 yup that's the ticket -- it's a part of the language centers, which are a part of the left hemisphere around the ear. broca's area is involved in forming speech from concept, and wernicke's is involved in interpreting meaning from speech -- so with broca's aphasia you have trouble expressing meaning and end up babbling, and with wernicke's aphasia you have trouble grasping the meaning of speech. you can have either or both depending on the extent of the injury or defect .. i'm babbling
@civilianpiper I commend you on replying to a year-old comment. Like I said a year over a year before on this video, all the songs on this album are of medical or anatomical nature. Pretty cool to have a band that's at least knowledgable of something instead of putting bland, unoriginal track names.
@JJack887 ;) doubt i need commending. you can see the brains flowing from their fingers, eh? buckethead's amazing, though it's been said many times: in-fricking-credible innovative talent, fluency in countless styles, unique and brashly experimental composing and performing abilities,... and chicks dig the 10" hands, speaking of anatomy...!
All the songs on this album relate to some part of anatomy or condition of the anatomy of the human body. Broca's Area is the left side of the brain if im not mistaken. It is also the name of a nasty disorder that effects motor skills and verbal/thought processing within the brain.
The Thanatopsis material, without a doubt, is some of Buckethead's greatest work. When I fisrt heard of them, I could not get enough. This music just grabs hold of you, & doesn't let go. Without question, true talent.
This band is wicked, just finding about them now. Heard buckethead before but not this
