B/c Buckbeak (the hippogriff) was supposed to be killed, that's how they ended up meeting Sirius Black. And you spell her name Hermione.

@Hi675445 No because they couldn't have had both. Diagon Alley is no where near Hogwarts so it would have been inaccurate to build Diagon Alley in the shadow of the castle, so they did Hogsmede. The only thing they've added from Diagon Alley is Ollivanders. I think there would have been a few complaints if Ollivanders was missed out as it's a crucial shop in the book where a wizard/witch gets their first wand. It's part of the magical experience :)

This park is AMAZING I went there in October for my birthday and now when I listen to Harry Potter music I get this sort of homesick feeling (but I used to do that for a real Harry Potter world that only exists in my dreams) And you don't have to tell me, I l already know I am a massive Harry Potter nerd, complete with custom made wand (my friend works at the park) and Ravenclaw backpack and hat.

A hippogriff is half horse,half bird of prey. A thestral is the skeletal horse-like creature that you can only see if you have seen someone die and yes, they also fly. You sit in a bench thing with four people in one. Your on a converbelt with your legs dangling, so you don't rest your feet on anything. Then Hermione throws this stuff on you and suddenly you're lifted off the ground!

Voldy isn't in it and neither is the 3 headed dog, Fluffy. But there are the giant spiders, dementors, a dragon, Malfoy, and other awesome creatures!

@phantom4664 It's Way Better :D You board a "magical bench" (robotic arm) that Hermione enchants with Floo Powder that flies through the Astronomy Tower (real set) and into a video dome projecting your bench flying out side Hogwarts. Then you meet up with Harry And Ron whom are guiding u to a quidditch match when out of no where you see Hagrid questioning you if you have seen a dragon (his new pet hungarian horntail). Then it's history. You are breathed on by fire by a dragon, and way more
