She moves faster and she's more agile than Richter, the only down-side I think is that Richter was awesome to play as in SOTN but they toned him down way too much I think for Dracula X. Actually, I like SOTN because even if you're not a good player, you can still eventually beat it through levelling up. Thus you still get to experience the full game.
Memorization is key in sidescrollers. If you have that and decent reflexes, you'll beat the game eventually. Some people are better than others but it's not like it's impossible to beat.
I'm getting a PSP soon and I'm going to get Dracula X just for SOTN lol. Used to play to sidescrollers so it take some getting use to again.

Find the Ferryman below the bridge(before you go to the middle of the level). Ride his boat, survive the Mermen Jumping out of the water, then You've reached Stage 3' without fighting Bone Golem...

Right after you whip press forward twice very quickly. In game distance, Richter's whip gets about an inch longer. But you have to do this every time you whip.
it's one of the hardest (or cheapest-shots , depend of your point of view) game I have ever seen on PSP, with Monster Hunter (but with monster hunter, you can prepare yourself, upgrade weapons, but in this game, you CAN'T, wich means you always restart over at the same place with the same stats, even if you tried 200 times, the game is as hard as the first time, wich is not bad at all because at the end of the game you're a beast, and you can beat the game again without dying that much)
Yes. You, the player, has to become good. Richter and his whip are equally as strong when you start and when you finish the game. No upgrades, other than your own skill. This is a great game.

Alucard's and Dracula's voices were awesome. No one can top Robert Belgrade as Alucard... unless they got Laurence Fishburne... or Howard Jones from Killswitch Engage. They needed to revoice for better Belmont, better Maria, and certain other voices and for a better script.

Now that that's outa the way, I really wish I had a PSP just for these games, both X and SOTN were great. Played them and loved them both, I'm better at SOTN and the newer Metroid style Castlevanias (the ones on the Gameboy Advance and DS) , but I like the classic Castlevanias as well, even if they are crazy hard at first. I also think the SOTN in Dracula X is different than the version downloaded from PSN. The voice acting is somewhat different, I like it a lot. : )

Hell Dawn of Sorrow and Aria of sorrow can be glitched out badly. You can get Soma doing 5-600 Damage at level 7.

Now that that's outa the way, I really wish I had a PSP just for these games, both X and SOTN were great. Played them and loved them both, I'm better at SOTN and the newer Metroid style Castlevanias (the ones on the Gameboy Advance and DS) , but I like the classic Castlevanias as well, even if they are crazy hard at first. I want to try out the PS2 ones too.

i love symphony of the night but to unlock it is bullshit, ive tried this so many times and always die before i complete the 2nd freaking stage, i feel richter plays like a retard and that easy bosses can own you easily as well as normal enemies, im sorry i hate this game with a passion and i dont think symphony of the night deserves to be unlocked this way i also dont have patience and to see a compilation game have games that need to be unlocked to play a crappy one just isnt worth my time

Lol, you don't need an item menu in this game, and the 5 hits thing ... hahaha ... well I guess that prompts you to learn how to avoid being hit rather than get really overpowered so you don't have to worry about getting hit and being completely without skill when you kill crap.
Don't worry, I don't care about this really, I'm just enjoying the fact that you're trying to say the game sucks to hide the fact that you suck at the game.

Haha, if a person is bad enough at a game that they can't finish it, they suck at a game. There are some exceptions like fighting games, they're easy to finish, so if they can't compete against human competition in person then they suck at them. I don't give a crap about your opinion of the game or game genres, whether it's different to what you're used to or not.

Here's a hint then, if you want an easier time to unlock Symphony, unlock maria first, she makes the game far easier than using Richter.
