@P4ddl35 well, you see what it is, is - when you are able to hear musical keys - you realise that they could have done a much better job on this by tuning her voice to fit the key of the underlying track, and if youre a musician you wonder how the hell they could have left it like that. the vocalist of meshuggah doesnt use much actual melody, but the underlying track most definitely does have a tuning which one would tune to. hope that clears it up for yer.

@clusterfuck667 beg your pardon, sir. i am both a musician and one with an ear for keys. i can hear that this isn't pitch perfect, but the dissonance is - in some sense - part of the appeal, and the resulting melody is unconventional, but far from unbearable. maybe i just listen to too much technical metal and i'm too used to weirder harmonies.

i suppose if you have perfect pitch then it's not the best mashup, but such is life. maybe your ear is just pickier than mine?
