My guess is that was not a Peter Gabriel concert but instead a lip-synced part of a show he took part in. I saw that tour (Security) at the Greek Theater in 1983 (best show of my life), and Tony Levin was on bass. Who was that long-haired dude? PG was not PG without Tony at that time. Also, it sounded just like the record = lip synced. Not something he did a lot of, I am guessing. People in the audience were in tuxes. Not a PG concert.
