  • I am torn between the shifter and the slipper clutch.. both have there own advantages. A 675 is defo a track tool, they are so nimble and great to ride, I do lose out to litre bikes on straights, not so much at Knockhill but down at Cadwell I suffer on Park Straight and the Start / Finish straight.... owe to have a bigger version of the 675, a 1050 triple would be great... :-)

  • Yeah the shifter is the best upgrade i've done to my bike by a long way.I've done a couple open pits,i tend to stay out too long so actually prefer the sessions,i need to get myself a 675 for next year, they sound brilliant ! fast too.

  • You're bike sounds really good ! How do you like the Quickshifter ? I never made it down to this one but i've booked both days (27th & 28th) for the BMW weekend in the Inters.

  • @polini9 The shifter is amazing.... it gives me so much more time to concentrate on other things, like body position etc.... get up through the gears quicker as well.... awesome. Not doing the BMW weekend.... gonna try do the 16th September... Knockhill usually offer half days on these a couple of weeks prior to the day so want to do an afternoon on that one. Open Pit so you can play a bit more and spend time making changes and trying them out.
