I was a teenager when I heard the Acen trip to the moon in Steve masonovu BFBS expirience, just the sound fascinated me something special, but ganjam years we are one that contains text in the song "Primo can you put your hands in your head or no" something like a jungle very similar to Slammer krome & Time, but not if you know you finally find the song, help me and greeting incredible Acen, Acen and prodygia because i began to be techno, jungle suburban underground bass freak
I never really liked Acen, and listened to this the other day, and was still like "meh", but then I had that damn hook from the intro stuck in my head. This is in fact a really great tune.
That has just blew ma mind !!! 20 yrs being tryn get that tune & krome & time -this is the sound of the underground ..!! yous to mix the two of them & my first trip kicked in with those two amazing tunes !!! ,,,flying key`s ye ha !! lol & the start of many amazing all-night raves & the best time of ma life defo.that music is Sacred !! ....A big shout for uploading these tunes ...took 20 yrs but wis worth the fucking wait ;-) ....RESPECT...glesga `rez, hanger, fuber ,metro posse.
love this used to be a female head banger in the lat 80's ely 90's so missed out big time - thanks to a work mate for the education feel I missed out big time and now too old to get into the scene so thanks for putting this out there x
Got a Back to the Old School CD which i play while i work out, first time i heard this i was transfixed. Its just so unique and futuristic and when the James Bond part starts....forget about it
This song is so far ahead of it's time we still haven't caught up yet...I've not heard anything like it ever.
It is a massive assault on the senses, and considering it was made in '92 it's astonishing.
EVERYONE says early nineties were the best...they were. There's no getting away from it. Most music I hear now is a cover of an old track or just dull. Some good stuff out there still though, just look hard. Go deep underground.
My favorite dance song of all time. Acen, thank you.
@scumbag1975 The best hardcore breaks track ever released along side Krome and Times - sound of the underground, shivers down the spine tracks well ahead of there time!
@scumbag1975 I'm not a massive fan of this genre, but I do remember this song being on a 4-disc compilation CD my brother had when i was a kid, and it stood out to me like a lighthouse on a foggy night! It was way ahead of the tracks it shared the CD with. I still have the rip I made of the track way back in the 90s on my computer. The dramatic way it switches things up kinda reminds me of Celldweller's 'The Last Firstborn'.
@scumbag1975 the guy who made this was apparently 18 at the time too, that always gets me, this is an awesome tune and i dont even like this sort of music!
It pisses me off when all you old-timers talk about the good old days when all I have are these YT videos :( I'll gladly take a trip on that time machine back to '89 if you're all up for it!!
Man, still play this in my dj sets, still gets people jumping!! Just stumbled on this after searching for something else, thank you for uploading this!!
Who are the badmen that said this tune was shit? How old are you? 18? I pity you. So glad my glory days didn't involve dubstep (ie NON music) HAH!!! Us old and saggy people had the best years of raving ever. FULL STOP!!!!
@feefeejungle Save your breath. The young generation now do not know what raving is! They think raving is going to Fabric and listening to dubstep and dropping some MDMA. They simply do not have a clue about music nor the class of pills we had back in the day. Music now is pretty much shit.
why aren't there places that play this sort of stuff anymore? i was like 4 or 5 years of age when this came out so i missed it, it's gotta be 20 years old now but you can see how it's paved the way for a lot of stuff today.
Remember this tune when it came out. Blew me away then, and still does today. My music tastes have widen somewhat since that day but it still remains one of the most mind blowing tracks I have ever heard. Quality.
Its a guaranteed fact....every time I here the piano loop at the start of ths song, I get a shiver up my spine and a HUGE FUCKING SMILE ON MY FACE!!!! Rave, Techno, Jungle....whatever the incarnation of underground sound....once the commercial record labels got their grubby little hands on our revolution it was fucked!!!! No little poptart ever got the feeling of such an energy rush from any shit in the charts today....that we get from a few simple piano strokes...beeps...and fantastic beats.
@kevtyrrell Makes us feel even more privileged to have had these tunes when we were young enough to really get the most out of them! I was 17/18 when all this stuff was around and I would not change any of it! Best years of my life, and I'm 37 now!!
¿where is the beautiful violin melody from, where?!!! Ive listen it since my childhood but never knew where did it came from... someone tell please!!!
@Nexussix1 the string melody played here is from "you only live twice" james bond movie. the original track is by nancy sinatra. These same strings have been used by Robbie williams in his track Millennium.
Can't begin to describe the "chills" I experienced when I rediscovered this song - if you weren't there, it's probably tough to understand, but OMG what a song!

@jimmymac1409 Mate, if we had access to a time machine i guarantee i know what we would all use it for. Even if it was only allowed to be used for one night. Amazing times, truly amazing!
@RealTalkerMan true mate, the only problem i'd have is chooseing where to go, paradise, astoria, bagley's, roller express, busby's, paradise would be way up their at the top as i met my wife their 20 years ago :)
@longkeith hahaha so true mate, my ringtone is breaking free - slipmatt and my message tone is your love - prodigy, also when my blower does ring people look at me like i'm a nutter, but you do get the old skool now and thenand they be nodding their head in approval as the phones going off :)
Acen was definately one of the best hardcore producers, it`s a shame he didn`t release more tunes and build on from these early classics. Him and Sublove could have taken hardcore forward and developed it.
the memories come flooding back, either from my drug enduced stupers or stomping about with me haedphones wired in, good to see the origins havent been forgotten. P.S all of acen's stuff is re-released on mp3/wav
YES YES! after so many years ive been looking for this. i went to a free party about 10 years ago and the dj played this. and been searching for the "you only live twice rave/jungle tune" ever scince.Happy days ☺☺
I was lucky enough to be at the right age in the right year..if that makes sense.. basically I was 19/20 in 92/93...those times queing outside the rhythm station, hearing the tunes in side, waiting for that pill to kick in.. ahhh..bliss
@xenon6543 Damn you have my envy. I was listening to this back when I was 9 years back then. By the time I reached 19/20 they're was no scene worth being a part of.
This tune is different gravy! takes me right back to friday nights at camden palace 1992! im sure the world was a much happier place back then!! peace and love to all those who remember!!
Man, I'm so late on the rave scene. I'm only 15, and I make breakcore, so I'm into that, and that introduced me to this. This track is so hot it's not even funny. I was listening to this this morning and I was bouncing in my chair the entire time.
I love this song, I suppose it comes under old skool but it's unlike anything I've ever heard, it's spooky, I love those drums!

Acen was definately one of the best hardcore producers, it`s a shame he didn`t release more tunes and build on from these early classics. Him and Sublove could have taken hardcore forward and developed it.

I was lucky enough to be at the right age in the right year..if that makes sense.. basically I was 19/20 in 92/93...those times queing outside the rhythm station, hearing the tunes in side, waiting for that pill to kick in.. ahhh..bliss
xenon6543 2 years ago 3
@xenon6543 Damn you have my envy. I was listening to this back when I was 9 years back then. By the time I reached 19/20 they're was no scene worth being a part of.

Man, I'm so late on the rave scene. I'm only 15, and I make breakcore, so I'm into that, and that introduced me to this. This track is so hot it's not even funny. I was listening to this this morning and I was bouncing in my chair the entire time.
Thank you Acen.
