@pokemon9513 you really have to ask yourself why you want to gain weight? is it because you want to look like everyone else around you? being thin is not a bad thing, nor does it make a person unattractive. I actually believe that skinny people have the best genes, but don't realize it because we live in over weight society
The healthiest way to gain muscle is proper exercise, green vegetables and avocados. Maybe some nuts every now and then. Rest is also important. And no non-naw food or meat has ever helped me. I've tried.
i'm a little over 5'11 and 163 pounds. im 16 but i play football and i gotta get a bit bigger.. i eat more than anybody in my family or my friends. i was very very fat as a kid but when i hit puberty i turned almost skin and bones. both of my bros are really skinny so i think its genetics but i dont wanna stay 163 pounds through highschool.
how tall are you? what is your sex? you should consult your doctor about what your healthy weight range should be. these things really depend on your age, height, genes, fitness goals, etc.
nuts and humous are good.. go for whole fat milk, and fish is full of good fats, salmon is probly the one with the higest fat and also you can gain heathly body weight through eating slow releasing carbs such as pasta, cous cous, potatos, rice and brown bread.. i gained alot of weight through eating these.. and i havnt put on much fat at all! just my skin thickened up and more muscle. i look just alot heathlyer :)
i'm 6'2" and 140 pounds, I have a hyperactive metabolism so am only 3.5% body fat. Am trying to get fit for joining the Army next year, though I'm strong enough I am way under my BMI, any advice to help me gain more bulk? (both fat and muscle) I'm looking to put on at least 2 stone (28lb)
