  • Even though i know it's irrational I can't just relax and not be nervous this sucks.

  • Don't mean shit if you're on the one that goes down.

  • Comment removed

  • @423musicfan That's irrelevant if you're on a bad flight.

  • i wouldn't worry to much, all the things that they train for are about as likely to happen as seeing ms universe 2003 Amelia Vega on your flight

  • I watched this to try and get over my severe fear of flying, biggest letdown ever.

  • flying is awesome!!!! specially since on my recent flight a month ago, i saw ms universe 2003 AMELIA VEGA!!! so pretty...;D

  • This does not make me feel safe! Counts!

  • i LOVE flying

my dream is to pilot commercial aircraft :)

  • @infinitelimitation me to!!!

  • My grandma died falling in the shower. I fly airplanes, and I'm alive!

  • This lady is a fucking bitch.

  • you cannot deny flying does have more risks than ground based transport. if you lose all flight controls you are in serious trouble. flying does carry dangers. yes it is fairly safe but you cannot say flying does not have any danger and it cannot be compared to dangers in ground based transport. supposing you lost both engines as the wheels lift off the runway in an urban area.

  • @210482fmj you're totally wrong. why would the flight controls all of a sudden fail for no reason? every commercial flight has 2 complete flying systems, so IF one did miraculously fail, the other is there as a back up. Think about how many thousands of flights there are everyday, all completely safe and awesome, when there are thousands of car ACCIDENTS everyday. flying is the safest mode of transport both statistically and logically.

  • @CBAnimator i'm not totally wrong. if what you were saying was true then that air france crash would not of occured which was a catastrophy. looks to me like you are wrong

  • @210482fmj now you're just making yourself look even more foolish. that flight went wrong because of a number of extremely rare factors. there was severe weather which should have been avoided, and normally would have been, and the pilots were inexperienced to deal with the situation. It was really quite bizarre. dont let these extremely EXTREMELY rare occasions make you think flying is anything less than safe. Im sure some people slip over in the shower and die, are you not going to shower too?

  • @CBAnimator SAfe means free from danger. flyign is not free from danger. THe world you are looking for is reliable. flying is not free from danger

  • @210482fmj I suppose you're correct by technicality - but by that logic bath tubs are not safe, they are "reliable".

  • @CBAnimator and you are the person who compared flying to having a shower. if thats your comparison then perhaps you have been smokingsomething you shouldn't. what on earth has flying safety got to do with health and safety in the home? you need to look at the mount of accidents that have occured in aviation over 50 years and you have proof it isnt safe but reliable. if it was safe then no accidents would of ever occured at all. face it we're not that advanced yet

  • @210482fmj congratulations on reaching the final step in being a total douche. why are you trying to freak people out about flying? you're making mountains out of molehills buddy. it's safe... yep, like taking a shower is safe. Im done talking to you now. say whatever you're like, because you're wrong. there is a great website for those whod like more info about flying and help you feel relaxed (apologies you'll have to decode it a bit) flying fear DOT net SLASH fear-of-flying-courses/turbulence

  • @CBAnimator I think he's one of those people that wets his pants before a take of everytime he has to fly. Hahaha.

  • @210482fmj there are a lot more car crashes a year than that of aviation crashes in the last 50 years

so are you saying that flying isn't safe?

what i mean is compare the amount of crashes to the amount of planes currently in service and you'll noticce that flying IS very safe.

  • @CBAnimator sorry pal but i am making sense and you are not. if you don't accept that flying is not free from risk or danger you are a fool. It takes an intellgient person to recognize that something has dangers and risks but only and ignorant person to deny that like you seem to be. you cannot say the world has been without plane crashes which is what you appear to be sounding like

  • @210482fmj they CAN happen yes. But the facts are that the odds are 1 in 17 MILLION. if you're going to claim they're anything less than safe with odds like those, then buddy you are literally going to be scared of EVERYTHING!

  • @210482fmj its annoying to have to even mention these small number of accidents, because all they really do is pollute the truth that normal commercial flying is incredibly safe.

  • @CBAnimator An illogical comparison. There are far more cars on the road than planes in the sky. And if you're in an accident on the ground, you're far more likely to survive.

  • @plangentmusic whatever dude. flying is safe.

  • @CBAnimator True -- as long as you land.

  • @plangentmusic dude don't be a douche! people come here to get help and overcome a silly fear, and that's not going to help. always remember there are thousands upon thousands of flights every single day, and the real odds of a fatal accident are statistically and logical insignificant.

  • @CBAnimator Yo, asswipe. I'm not trying to scare anyone -- just saying that's reasonable to hate flying. And the comparison to car accidents is dead wrong. Yes, there are 40 times more deaths from car accidents than flying each year. But there are hundreds of millions more cars on the road than planes in the sky. Yes, people have to fly and the chances are astronomical of an accident. But the experience for some people is simply too horrific.

  • I'm not worried about the plane or the pilots. I'm most worried about another terrorist attack. Yes the cockpit doors are locked but they are frequently opened during long flights giving terrorist plenty of opportunities to do another 9/11.

  • what is both pilots our dead any no one know how to fly the plane?

  • @MsGogo68

there's usually 3-4 people with flying experience on the plane.

  • @hattrick116 mabey but what if there ecperience is on a video game and just saying iam not afrid of flying at all i actul want to be a poilt

  • I'm flying today from California to england, this def helped a lot. My friend who is a pilot is really helpful with tell me the safety features of airplanes

  • @SaraFiltz I'm flying from california to france

  • wow this helped.....-__- im flying on wednesday. this just made me a lot more scared to fly!

  • @catherinelovesyou11 if your a hot lady you can fly with me ;)

  • WHAT THE FUCK. THIS IS TRYING TO SCARE PEOPLE. DO NOT WATCH IT.

  • where's the rest of the series?

  • Whoever is flying tomorrow must watch this watch?v=5X_7Xt2ga-s&feature=related

  • ive got to fly to cyprus soon im reaaly scared of flying i dont know why, ive looked at the odds for a airplane crash which are really really low! they say its the safest form of travel, but im terrified, i would appreciate if anyone would reply with some wise calming words that i can thnk about whilst flying it wud really help me out thanks peace

  • @restless999 Okay, the pilots flying airlines have probably 18,000+ hours of flying... theyre still alive. Idk if this will scare you more, but The Gimli Glider was a Boeing 767 that lost both of its engines at 29,000 feet because of error on the ground of the amount of fuel (it was a flight in canada, and it was when they were switching to the metric system so they calculated wrong... this was a long time ago, I've seen planes getting refueled personally, that won't happen now) and from 29,000

  • and from 29,000 feet no power, the pilots glided the plane down and landed 100% safe no deaths, no injuries... Also as you probably know, the Hudson Flight with Captain Sullenberger AND his CoPilot landed with no deaths in water. so just think how safe it is and I promise you nothing will happen. Just relax and have fun, I wish I were flying :D

O and If you can, when you're boarding the plane just talk to the pilots, ask them how many hours they have or whatever makes you feel better

  • @restless999 thanks alot man, latly ive been feeling alot better about it all, you made some really great points that put things into perspective so thank you vey much! i hopefully will enjoy my flight to cyprus along with the holiday lol

  • lol another sensationalist report from years ago.. with false predictions for the future.

  • Oh this is reasuring!

  • don't watch this if you're scared of flying...

  • misleading title!!!! i'm flying tomorrow!! i hate flying and i'm looking for reassurance..!

  • This is quite depressing.

  • can't say it boosted my confidence. actually made it worse I have to fly in two weeks.

  • @biggytupac
