I feel sorry for you folks living outside the U.S.A. :-(
Am blessed to live here and pick up virtually any gun I want without a whole lot of restrictions.
We have instant background checks through our BATFE here in the states so it is no problem getting a gun. The best part of course is living in Arizona we can conceal carry open carry whatever the heck we want and no questions asked! I would be more than welcome to entertain visitors to the states to come shoot with me sometime!
I'm joining IPSC in Australia, and we have very strict gun laws in Oz. Soo much shit to go threw just to do a sport. Fingerprints, passport photos, paperwork, and that's just to join, not to own a gun, erg. And I'm under 18 so that makes it a bit harder.
I'm from Canada and we have IPSC matches here as well...yeah the gun laws are very strict here..but you need only pass criminal record checks and appropiate firearms licence training and classes to own handguns and compete in matches like this. (To compete you also require specialized tactical training like this as well)

you shoot pretty fast, but its intresting how many A you get :D From your cordination ant shooting standing I think that you get 70% Deltas on the stage :P practice ;)
Glock 17 is around NZ$1k, membership depends on the club and 16 years of age is minimum age to apply for Firearms license. Actual age allowed to join club may depend on the club rules as well. The real cost of shooting is ammo (depending of course on how much you shoot).
Anyone can participate, but to own any handgun/psitol/revolver you need to be 16,Hold an A Catergory Firearms Lisence(Sportin Type Rifles and Shotguns) and have to have been a member of Pistol NZ for 12 Months and attend 12 Club shoots every year, plus be nominated by yout club. After that its all sweet.Handguns are not that cheap in NZ.Your looking at about 700-800 + Thats from places like gun city and SAI guns.
Yes I pray so you folks are a good and fine country.

what upgrades cost that much? Under production rules you cannot modify your gun whatsoever.
majikhusky 2 years ago
what kind of money do you have to put down on a pistol and membership to do this and how old?
